Thank you Max, I am so glad that Fudge is safe.

janiejewel, Debbie123, the owner was actually the rescue. The person who adopted him & said the dog was stolen, may have told lies/sold Fudge on. He was still registered to the rescue on his chip. It may be that it was discovered he was stolen, when family took him to vets. The rescue have agreed the new owners can keep him, subject to home check. Not everyone takes a dog to the vet unless it is poorly.

Wonderful news So pleased that Fudge has been found safe, and well
a little confused here. Is Fudge not going back to it`s rightful owners then?

Great news x

Ohhhh wow, such good news.. Yes Debbie 123, so many questions aren't there... Surely any genuine new 'owner' would take an 'acquired' dog, or cat, pet, to be health checked inoculated & chipped, wouldn't they...?
Debbie123
So is he going home to his rightful owner or is he staying with the new family?
- was his chip not checked or changed - how does that happen - surely new owner would have applied to change chip -

There’s a staffy type dog mentioned on a post in pontefract at a racecourse. Is it possible that it could be fudge?

Sadly nothing has been seen on the cctv.
There is a little more to this situation than meets the eye & I am working with rescue, who are working with owner, to see if we can find Fudge.

The one at Whitehouse Kennels is NOT Fudge. Chip numbers are different & this one is castrated, found one isn't, but thanks.

I am trying to get in touch with owner/rescue to get more info, in order that the store can check the relevant time for cctv footage. Have left a message with my phone number on contact number above.
