The police are not interested, or is it just LAZY and cannot be bothered with paperwork. Hopefully MP will have more power. Keep pestering them. They have to listen eventually. LizLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Well almost 4 weeks on and the local police say they have been around to the new owner and are convinced it is not his dog-They managed to convince themselves even though they did not have a photo of Bryn with them!!! Owner has repeatedly asked them to take a photo so he could look and compare. Vet is adamant it is the same dog. Owners have still had no luck with finding the ladies address. The police say as far as they are concerned the case is closed. Owner is to make a Police complaint and will write to his MP. In the mean time anyone in Nottingham area please keep vigilant.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Ack!! now that is annoying, Is there a local pub nearby or shop? Did they have the papers delivered? if so that might be a source of info as to where they have moved to. Maybe they could try the "flower delivery" trick to get the new houseowners to give the address out? Turn up with a huge bunch of flowers pretending to be from a Florist with flowers for a special Birthday? if it doesn't work you keep the flowers for youself at least! Owner went to the address that our helpers found-unfortunately she used to live there but has since moved! Police know the present address but will not give it to the owner and do not appear to have even visited!!!!! owner feels he is knocking his head against a brick wall.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Police have been informed of the possible sighting-but as yet have not acted-owner has given them till tomorrow to look into it-then he will handle it his way. The person who saw the dog says he is 99.9% certain it is the same dog- and it has suddenly appeared in his area. Remember also that the owner was given a tip off that his stolen dog had been sold on in Nottingham and that Bryn has very distinctive colourings. Watch this space!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
