Kira was last seen by a worker in the shell garage nr clarence place, on thursday morning. Please has anyone seen her since then? She has not been picked up yet by te dog warden so I can only assume she is either still loose and very good at avoiding cars or someone has picked her up. Blade is crying for her to come home, I will have to get him a new dog friend soon to calm him but I dont want to give up on Kira. Please can anyone help? I have emailed the south wales argus today to see if they can run a story. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

*REPOST HAVE REMOVED IDENTIFING INFO* - NEW REPORTS. We have found out that a young girl called A*****from ********** in Maindee took the dog as a game, to try and see if they could get in without getting bitten. I still dont know what happened to Blade and why he is so frightened and where this burn mark came from. We have now come to a dead end as the girl has given so many different stories regarding how the dog got out and where she is now. WE have eye witnesses to say that A****** did take the dog, whereas she is saying the dog followed her home and then ran off. A****** lives literally 50 yards away from myself, on another street around the corner. Please can anyone help me to put up more posters and make more enquiries, i do not believe the dog has simply run off as she would have known where she was and would have come home. Police have been notified, promised they would come last night, they failed to turn up. AGAIN. I am going to try the RSPCA etc again. But we have a another lead to say the dog is at A****** sisters. we are still trying to find out where this girl lives. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Bex21. Have you notified the police and got a crime number. There are some EVIL Ba****ds about. Hope that Blade can recover soon from his dreadful ordeal, and good luck in finding Kira. Sending positive vibes from Somerset. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

hi, thanks Jayne. My other dog is also a german shepherd, he is 4yo and much bigger than Kira, soft as butter with children etc but he is a guard dog. He will bite if a trespasser comes into the yard with a negative energy (ie jumping away from him or screaming etc) his normal behaviour when I come home through the huge steel gate we have is to fetch his ball and get very excited. Since the incident, as soon as he hears the gate go he s to the floor and cowers. it takes several seconds for him to realise who it is when he will literally crawl across the floor towards me. once inside he is fine as long as you stay quiet. yesterday we found what looks to be a burn mark on his right flank. I just want to get my pup back and hopefully get Blade back to his normal self, last time I saw this behaviour it was with a racehorse that I rehabilitated, who had been burnt on the neck with cigarettes. Get lots of posters up and if you are near farm land try and let the farmers know, and also dog wardens if you have one, and all rescues. I will put this on BIGGSD.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I can put a few posters up at the bottom entrace to Beechwood Park and in one or two of the shops accross the road from there, but it won't be until later on today (i'm in work and can't get there...). It would be a good idea if someone could get a poster in Tesco's at Spytty. Hope you find her soon Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Also try contacting Summerhill Vets who are based in Maindee they are very helpful especially if they know the dog as the vets are updated of any missing animals and they check out any strays or potentially stolen dogs brought in.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Have forwarded poster to my fiance for him to keep an eye open. I would go and put posters up myself but am not in the country. May be worth postering Beechwood Park and the George Street Bridge area if not already done. I hope the horrible people who have done this get caught. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
