I'm just reading on the Facebook comments that there are two places called Wishaw - people had assumed it was the Scottish one where the chip is registered - could it be the other one? Near Sutton Coldfield? Closer to where she was found. The 8 day rule really doesn't allow long enough for the owner to be traced. If the dog has been missing for some time (years maybe?) the owner may not be checking social media much. Paws crossed
.
I heard that Daisy and Lola were eliminated. I contacted Ellie's owner [missing since 2015], sadly not her either. Have posted on Twitter, really hope owner can be traced before they rehome her :-((

further info - The microchipping company have finally come back with some information. They have said she's from Scotland.
She was chipped in 2016. In a place called Wishaw.
Owners will need to confirm chip number and dogs registered name.
No answer from owners so they are writing to them.
She will go with the dog warden and be held for 8 days before going up for rehoming with the forest of dean rehoming centre.
