Lovely CROSS POSTED UPDATE:

6 days ago my Mum's dog Bronte got spooked on a walk in Delamere forest, since then she had been on the run...previously a recuse dog, she is very timid and scared from years of poor treatment by her breeders. Anybody who is an animal lover/dog owner can imagine the anguish.
The next 6 days, a huge search unfolded, day and night, over 1,000 face book shares, hundreds of kind hearted people from the local community, gents with drones, posters, the amazing Donna Ryan and her team of specialist volunteers all pulled together to help Bronte to eventually be reunited with my Mum. I'm so thankful and touched by the generosity and helpfulness of all these lovely people.πŸ”†πŸΎπŸ’š

Another UPDATE by Donna:

Sighting tonight by Delamere again
We are getting closer and hoping she will tire soon but she’s still running
We have traps & cameras at the ready and have only a minimal number of people out searching and setting up food station
We do t want to scare her so searches will be done by a minimal number at this time so we don’t chase near to the railway
Lots of stuff going on behind the scenes
The local community have been amazing - particularly those who live in the forest and the forestry commission staff..
we cannot always disclose actual sightings in a bid not to scare her - we do hope you understand
Thank you to those who have contacted us with sightings .

Cmon bronte
Let’s get you homeLast edited: 2018-11-02 09:21:53

CROSS POSTED UPDATE by
Donna Ryan:

**** update *****

Drones have concentrated on one area of Norley today
We will concentrate on other areas of sightings tomorrow past the forest

It’s common for dogs to go quiet when they have run for days like Bronte did -

Apologises but we are unable to respond to every query as often we are out searching in areas of poor reception

We will do updates the end of each day or as news comes in we promise

Thank you so much for your support and to the many who have been out looking through the vast areas of the forest
The owner has done an amazing job and is out morning noon and night

She’s desperate for s sighting now

Thank you
Carol
Is there any news today please?

I have shared to the Facebook group: Drone SAR for lost dogs. They may be able to help search but need the owner to join the group asap and to give them as many details as possible. Please try to do this. This group are brilliant and have had a lot of success in finding lost dogs.

CROSS POSTED UPDATE:

Brontie was sighted...but was spooked by people back into the forest. She was spotted a little later in fields between the visitor centre and Old Pale. She is terrified!...covered in mud and running scared. Ex-puppy farm dog, she will not be easy to catch...and the forest there is very busy. But...please report ANY sightings of you are at Delamere tomorrow πŸ™ This little girl needs to go home badly πŸ’”

All is I hand with local fb group Bindi’s. A trap/feeding station will be put in place if needed and time is right. She will be in panic mode and running scared at the moment.
