  • Other Info He was photographed in our front garden an hour after going missing but they tried to catch him and he ran. Snoop is a very nervous dog as he had experience as a bait dog. Nobody should approach him, just give details of his location

Pleased that Snoop is home but disturbed by yet another chip failure. In 7 days you would have lost legal ownership and he would have been rehomed. I'd complain to the organisation who chipped him and to petTRAC.

We're just going to pick him up. He was handed in and the manager of the home saw my post on the local shout out page on Facebook. His chip did not flag up and the details weren't available from petTRAC. On Monday his chip number and description were given to the dog warden but it appears they weren't contacted. We're just relieved he's safe but there is a breakdown in the system for reuniting chipped dogs with their owners
