From owner on FB the most heartbreaking update "WARNING! the update from the vets is quite upsetting. Digger was found with a serious head injury the police have described it as malicious and are investigating it due to this fact we are warning all pet owners in the area to be extra vigilant with their own pets. I will update if we find out any more from the police.Be safe everyone xxxxx"

How upsetting, at 15 years old I doubt he got to Mitcham on his own.

Very sad update from owner "Very sad to announce that digger was found dead yesterday in mitcham by an anonymous woman who took him to Morden vets and worse still we don't know details of what happened as the receptionist said management need to speak to my dad as it's quite upsetting. On behalf of all my family from the bottom of hearts would like to thank all of you for your help and kindness and without all your advice I don't know if we would have known he'd got to mitcham. Thank you all"
