- Very relieved to report that Zoe is now safe. There are too many people to thank personally but you know who you are! It's been an emotionally draining week for everyone! We have spent the afternoon leafleting local houses. Charlotte had a know on her door from the farmer opposite to say that they had found her in one of their outbuildings. Huge thank you to everyone who printed posters, helped search and who were a great support. I just want to mention Colette at Kit Wilson's though, who dropped everything to help, despite having a very busy rescue centre to run and who spent half the night up there last night manning the trap!! What a result...we can all sleep tonight now!!

- Any updates please.
- 2018-11-09 12:51 Zoe - Area Volunteer - East Sussex
- I'm so sorry for the lack of updates...its been a really busy few days. There is a lot going on behind the scenes, there are some amazing people involved who really have done so much over the last few days. A trap was put in place yesterday close to where she has been seen over the past few days. The food had been taken last night but obviously unsure whether it was her or a fox. A camera is going up in the very near future. So thats where we are at the moment....

- Sorry for the lack of updates. We believe that Zoe is still in the area. Fosterer was searching most of day again yesterday and I went out at dusk yesterday. We're hoping to get a food station and possibly a trap set up today. Big thank you to Colette at Kit Wilson and also Nicki Scriven who is giving us advice until she's able to help too. Will keep you posted.

- Has there been any more sightings. Poor darling xxx

- Romrescue, I don't really have any experience with the traps but Colette @ Kit Wilson's had already offered to help and has a trap, but at the time we'd not had a sighting. She is local and is happy to help. Charlotte and I did discuss best places to put trap this morning. The exact place that Zoe was seen last is not the best place to put it as we'll end up trapping half the dogs in Heathfield but there is somewhere else that is much quieter that she was seen over the weekend so I would suggest placing it there subject to landowners permission.
Unfortunately, Zoe seems to be very elusive but there was a confirmed sighting this morning so it's great that she isn't still in the area.
Thank you Kate, if you could walk the turf fields later with your dogs that would be fab but please only track from a distance. My worry is that now more people are aware of her being missing that they will try to catch her:-(
PLEASE DO NOT TRY TO CATCH OR CHASE ZOE....HER FOSTERER IS ON CALL AND CAN GO STRAIGHT AWAY SO PLEASE JUST REPORT ANY SIGHTINGS.
Thank you all so much x - 2018-11-05 13:07 kjane85

- Not long back from walk through woods to five ways, back across fields and up the lane, so many places to hide sadly. Mentioned her to a few people. Fingers crossed tomorrow brings good news.

- Thanks Kate. I am in TN21 and got an alert so am not sure why you didn't get one? I went out this morning. I've been out most of the day but just heading out again now, now the light is going. She must be really hungry so hopefully will show herself soon. There's are lots of people aware now that she is missing. I have advised fosterer to advise all the local farmers. I walked the turf fields again this morning and walked past the farm at the bottom where there was lots of places for her to take shelter but I didn't see anyone to mention her to. I think she was going to phone the turf farm people. Thanks to everyone for their help so far x

- I am busy this a.m. but will walk out round turf fields etc this afternoon if Zoe not found by then. Might be worth telling people at turf farm as they have a few outbuildings she may have gone into. Fingers crossed she shows herself soon. By the way I did not get an alert for this so not sure if it went out to TN21? I checked profile etc and Defo set correctly. You may be missing more help!

- Nice to meet you too Kate:-) Avery good friend of mine went out at 8pm last night and had a quiet walk of the area she was last seen. He's also walked the Warbleton area early this morning but seen nothing. I'll go out again this morning but then have commitments for most of the day. Hopefully there'll be a sighting today so we have an area to work on. I have advised fosterer to contact Jenny & Tiga.

- Can the rescue involved get in touch with Canine Capture UK? They are very experienced at safely catching nervous dogs and strays and have the best equipment and team available. It is a scary time of year for any dog to arrive in the UK but especially to go missing on the same day, poor girl! I hope she is found soon. Here is the link to the organisation that could help:

- Nice to bump into you today Zoe, sorry to hear no luck yet, please let me know if you need some help tomorrow searching. Poor little pup must be so frightened. Kate

- I have been out for the past couple of hours searching. I bumped into Charlotte (Zoe's fosterer) who has spent most of the day searching. She's really upset that this has happened. Zoe has not been seen since 10am this morning, where she crossed the main road three times!! She lives in one of the houses that back onto the cuckoo trail side, but was last seen going through the hedge into the bungalows on the other side of the road. We think she may be holed up somewhere close by. Hopefully, when it's a bit quieter, she'll make her way back to the house, but is very nervous apparently and obviously hadn't been there long enough to know its home. Unfortunately, there are some firework displays planned locally which isn't ideal:-( Hopefully, there will be some sightings in the next few hours.

- I live in Heathfield so will head up
There shortly. Can anyone be more specific about where exactly she is missing ie cuckoo trail side of road or turf fields side of road and which direction she headed off in? Does she have a collar or harness on? Fosterer needs to get posters up!! I’m happy to help display but I don’t have a printer so can’t print any off myself. - 2018-11-03 13:31 Paddy
