Nina was found not far away in a farmer's field. She was very poorly, but owner, after a visit to the vet, reported her to be ok.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thanks Linda for doing that! No news about Nina, been round more vets/pet shops and places putting up more posters today in towns further away from us! Looked round all the area around house again today ie fields, neighbours outbuildings and any local walkers have not spotted her either! Fingers crossed we get some good news!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi Thanks for your assistance! We have put up lots of posters , she went missing from our home, so we have put posters on trees right in front of house aswell! I am told this am from vet in Biggar that a few dogs have went missing in the area recently! We run as school transport business so have handed out posters to kids on buses, have some on the minibuses aswell, went to schools, shops, pet shops vets etc!Going to get pic in local gazette for next week as this weeks is already out. Logged with police and dog wardens aswell! MY gut instinict is she has been stolen due to timescale she was away, far to quick for her to have wandered off, so hopefully as you say we can make her to hot to hang on to!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Please call all the dog wardens in these areas as she may not be near home now if she has been lifted. Owner please follow these details to try and locate little NINA. Print off lots of posters of NINA. They need to be put up in the area where she went missing, on lamposts, entrances to parks and strategic places in parks, like at the start and finish of tracks and paths, at vets, petshops, carry-out food shops, local shops who often allow postcards in the window, supermarkets who have notice board, community centres, schools etc. You can ask the postman, milkman, binmen (even put poster on bins). You can ask school bus drivers and kids on the bus, or if you have kids on the bus, get them to hand out flyers at school. Deliver flyers to houses & pop through letterboxes . Hand out flyers to people in the street, especially dog walkers. Put posters or flyers in car windows. Rescue centres and kennels, also police offices need checking regularly and preferably visited in person, by owner or someone who knows the dog, because your dog or it's breed may not be recognised by other people. Also police are sometimes too busy to do much about it. Get some media coverage if you can, by asking the local radio station to broadcast NINA as missing and put an ad in the local newspaper with a picture of her. In the case where she may have been stolen, make her too hot for thieves to handle. Please call me if you need help. I have sent you a text. Best wishes and good luck. x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
