- I would happily go back after m midnight tonight but am going to France for 5 days early tomorrow so can't help this time. Sorry. I hope Bella has been caught by the time I return but, if not, I will go out during the early hours. My opinion is that someone she knows should sit in their car after the world has gone to bed as that's when she is likely to come out. I really wish Wendy lots of luck.Sandy

- Thank you everyone who is helping this little one who must be feeling very vulnerable.
Folly, your help sitting quietly is much appreciated, would you be able to call the poster number if not already in contact with Wendy so that you are included in the planned search?

- Correct Gnasher, at this stage owner feels she like Bella location away from Facebook to help pin down the searchers to step back so she can check locations out herself and her partner. Wendy traveling between Ringwood and ferndown daily to search along side her partner who doesn’t live local in area which he has done a great job door to door knocking and postering. Also Rachel has been our searching daily and also with her mums dog which is Bella girlfriend. Searching has been Between 5am and 8/9pm none stop since Saturday. The local community has been supportive towards Wendy and family and Rachel in searching and helping even on there dog walks in morning and day and evening times, along side I’ve helped with along side sheena too. Which she’s been coming over from verwood to help after work and when she got spare time. So there is always someone within distance of ferndown to act fast on sightings if needed.
Sightings be updated daily as much as possible. Along private message be sent to another admin along sheena being aware so always be informed on updates ect - 2018-11-15 07:34 Gnasher - Area Co-ordinator, East Dorset
- Prayers for Bella's safe capture and thanks to those helping the family. Precise sighting locations are being withheld as it's important not to have too many people flooding the area at this crucial time. Continued support is still needed by calling any sightings in asap

Bella is used to a dog create. She is a nervous little girl which unfortunately won’t approach anyone she may not reconise. Even with food be slim chance she come to anyone or out or hinding space. Remember Bella is a size of a cat in size. On last sighting by owners partner she still has her collar on her which is great. Due to she is nervous dog and used to create a trap has been put in place on last location to help see if catch her safely which is watched from distance. Need to think of Bella safety so at this stage I think the area she been spotted in atm is safe area we try to keep her inside it and focus a feeding station and also a trap day to day to avoid her moving out and traveling further the field. Or coursing danger to herself.

Sheena from DLD group on side with helping also. - 2018-11-14 23:17 Folly
- I've just spent an hour there sitting quietly in my car but no sign tonight. I was probably too early. I guess about 1 - 2 am when everyone has gone to bed would be best but I needed to get back for my dogs. There was no sign of some clothing or bed with her familiar smell in the place by the copse where she has emerged before . It might be a good idea to put some of her owner's clothing, and maybe they could sit in the car as I did just waiting & watching. Hope she is soon caught.

- Went up at about 11am and had a good look round but sorry, could not see her. Found the blue blanket, so must have been in the right place.

- Hi @Sally, thanks for the offer of help. Will be doing some leaflets through doors tonight, if you want to help. call the second phone number. 07767980066. We will arrange where to meet. Wendy I I will be up there tonight-we are wanting to have a few more sightings. We do believe that she is in the Copse at the top of Wollaton Road on the right, just where the new houses start. There is a path running behind this. She was spotted there today. We may move the feeding.

- Thanks for the help and support. We were out last night and set up a BBQ. in the last sighting location. No sightings last night, but were very noisy and walked the copes with Infrared. Lots of places inaccessible, and many holes to hide. We returned this morning and waited with sardines soaked chicken. No joy at the baited area. However at least one sighting, maybe two by on of our friends who turned up to help this morning, sightings were close/next to the same copes. We will return every evening, between 6 and 7, And every morning at 5am till found. Last edited: 2018-11-14 08:05:16 by Wendy

- Hi, bogdogs, Thangs for your help. I have emailed the map showing location of Leaflets dropped to admin, can you get that email? All new houses have been excluded so far from leaflets, We have concentrated on the lower end of the Wollaton Road. However since this morning I will concentrate on leaflets in the new build houses. Some of which front onto this area. For info this link is where I spotted Bella https://goo.gl/maps/XPwZeErUSXF2 should be a street view of the copse....and this is the copse. https://goo.gl/maps/jXkc1YQBhx82 this should show an aerial view. Will be back tonight, and tomorrow morning. Regards, Terry

- Hi I went for a walk in the copse, this morning and spoke to a couple of dog walkers. They were unaware of Bella. There didn't seem to be many posters, so I will print some and take them up this afternoon.
- 2018-11-13 08:43 Wendy
- So, yes. I can say two possible sightings this morning at around 6:30am. One from me, (Terry) Will be back out tonight and again tomorrow morning. Sheena (think that was her name) suggested BBQ food and now we have a good area to do this. I have sent through my maps of the area to admin email. Can you forward to her. Thank you. - Great that Bella has been spotted, I can email some info sheets that will help with bringing her home as she sounds as though still running scared at the moment.
- 2018-11-13 06:46 Wendy
- So we will be back out tonight. Can you call a number on the poster and will arrange to meet.

- Great.. I've been out this morning. Walked an area top of Wollaton Road. There is a copse by the new houses. I walked past a couple of dog walkers. Got halfway down. Looked up and the man was running to me. His wife had got to the top. Looked back and saw a black shape on the path. Could have been a dog. They left I stood looking I spotted it back up by the join. Called her name. She looked at me. Didn't look like a cat. She ran back into the copse. Waited there. Walked back down then waited. Also saw a fox from the same distance. Larger. So also ran in into the copse. She.. If it was her I saw. May be in there. This is Terry by the way

- I can join you Tuesday evening if that's any help. I wouldn't expect her to get to West Moors. I have notified my friend who works at St Mary's vets which is very near. She is probably hiding up nearby. Presumably her owners have put some of their clothing nearby? I'll have a look up that way tomorrow afternoon. Would she be more likely to come near to another dog?
- 2018-11-12 22:42 Wendy
- Hi Folly, we're not sure if Bella would have ventured that far. We've been putting up posters in the area of Glenmoor Rd, and Wollaton Road. We started leaflets through every house in the area today. The Main ones done. Will spread out. We've had 3 sightings all from Saturday. But the leaflets worked as one sighting was only reported after out leaflets. She went out to Glenmoor Rd, the the following sightings have her retuning to Wollaton where she may have gone to ground. She is so scared so really need to check the gardens. Will be back each evening, was also there at 5am this morning walking, back again twice to leaflet.

- I am in West Moors. What can I do to help get Bella safely home?

- Would a moderator please help to change the image on the poster. I have tried to no avail. Can you do a simple swap of the two images, so that the current 'extra image' becomes the Poster image? Last edited: 2018-11-12 08:02:45 by Wendy

- Region changed to South West.
Bella was staying with a friend at their home whilst owner away for the day when she was spooked by a loud firework and escaped the garden. She doesnt live nearby. Her worried owner rushed back last night whilst local friends, family and volunteers continued to search. She is very nervous and fireworks were going off until very late in the area so very likely will be hiding somewhere.
The warden is aware and her owner will be calling all local Vets today. Please use the link on the page to print posters out around the area as they really do help spread awareness and get people looking.
Hoping for better news today x - 2018-11-11 08:06 Alison
