I am pretty new to this site but I have found several of the posts left by the person referred to below unpleasant and aggressive. Regardless of situation there is no need for the level of antagonism which I perceived on more than one occasion and on more than just Rocky's page.

Glad Rocky is home. However I am disappointed that someone has been removed from site!...Agree with comments from Skywalker99 and MaxN.....

Pleased Rocky is safe and at home. Skywalker99 agree with you although it seems that person was restricted from using the site and did not leave. Pity no-one could publicly apologise on here for their error.

Pleased he has been found but it is sad that someone who I think has helped doglost for quite a while appears to have left the site as a result of someone behaving unnecessarily towards them.

Thank you Jayne, we can now concentrate on the search for Rocky. I have spoken to his owner this morning, everything is being done that can be done. The farm has been thoroughly searched and a drone will be used today. I have removed his number as he would prefer not to have calls but anyone with any information can contact Josephine on the poster number above.

I don't recall asking for the poster number to be changed Poochpal but thank you anyway - just provided the owners contact number for due diligence as his telephone number is on every post on social media being shared by his girlfriend. I take it the post I put on here with regard to the reward being offered has been followed up as would that not need to be on your poster now?

Can I just add that the facebook post I originally saw and responded to about poor Rocky was done by Sarah who when I made contact with said she was the partner of Clarence - at no point did I know or even think it would be a problem to proceed with providing advice and support as we always do. Essentially I have been labelled a liar today and am personally really upset by the whole matter. When this listing was registered again at no point would I have known that the number on the listing was in fact not attributed to the owner or his partner as I thought one of them had registered - there was no mention of Josephine Pinfold on here at that point. My comment about contacting the owner based on what had happened was true and factual and only meant to be seen as helpful.

Issue hopefully now resolved. CJ Hinton, on behalf of UAV Dog search group, had been in contact with a friend who posted on a local Facebook group on behalf of the owner.
Josephine kindly registered for the owner who had not been contacted by anyone.
Lesson to be learnt by all who wish to help, please be sure that if quoting spoken to owner that it is in fact the owner that has been contacted.
I am sorry that this was not taken up offline but emotions at a distressing time like this can lead to impulsive posts.
I can suggest Jayne pink the relevant posts if everyone agrees and we all focus on finding poor Rocky.

I have found that sometimes people copy & paste info on fb & it seems as if they are the owner of the dog. I have come unstuck in the past with this, thinking they are owners (not saying it has happened in this case), but it easily happens.
Have shared & hope there is news soon.

Dog is taking priority in my eyes and has done since I first made contact at 7.20pm last night and we posted to help on our facebook page with the agreement of the owners at that time. I agree this is obviously down to a misunderstanding but not sure at this time how that has come about.
