- Sad update from Louise of Lost & found animals In the Kettering area UK x
"It is with much sadness that I write this post. This beautiful girl was sadly run over and sustained injuries to great to recover from. On the vets advice and on welfare grounds, she will be forever sleeping.
I would personally like to thank the many volunteers who took time to feed her and make sure her bed was warm and made comfortable every day. I would also give many thanks to the ladies from rescue and trapping teams behind the scenes. Also to the landowners for allowing access.
We do not know where she came from or how she ended up here with her companion and we may never know. Everyone involved is understandably distraught but takes comfort in knowing that 'mum' and little lives were rescued.

- Thank you to everyone who has reported sightings of this girl, it is really important please that people who see her DO NOT APPROACH OR CHASE HER she is very very scared & this is hampering the efforts of those trying to track her as it is causing her to keep moving areas. Also PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE FOOD OUT FOR HER those working to safely catch her have a feeding station set up & other sources of food could jeopardise this. Please be assured that those in the area working to safely catch her have experienced people on hand to advise & support and as soon as sufficient progress is made, expert trapping people are on standby to safely capture her x

UPDATE
We can confirm that mum and pups are safe, well, and away from area. We thank you for your patience, we have had a team working long hours to establish a feeding routine all week and to gain their trust. We had made great progress in a relatively short space of time but it now appears the second dog has been spooked. We appreciate the frustration when we have radio silence. We would ask that people continue to post sightings regarding the second dog, she is scared and in survival mode.
This is why we ask that she is not chased. We absolutely understand you all wanting to help and we are thankful of the offers. We are trying our very hardest in an extremely difficult situation so please bear with us.
Posts have to be approved, for obvious reasons, we are not ignoring people :)
