UPDATE from Rosie's page

Good Morning everyone. Finally I have some FAB NEWS too share. Rosie has been seen alive and VERY well and is currently contained in a LARGE area being monitored by CCTV and with a feeding station now set up. The area is to remain private for the time being and no further assistance is required from any of you amazing people. The owner has all the advice and support she requires too finally catch Rosie and at this moment in time, she is the only one that should be interacting with her .The aim as she is in a contained area, is for her to build up her presence without spooking her and then bringing in a trap and getting her used to that, then finally putting the food in the trap and BINGO...hopefully one doggie caught...Slowly slowy catchy monkey comes too mind....

THANK YOU EVERYONE SO VERY MUCH FOR ALL YOUR HELP AND SUPPORT YOU HAVE BEEN AMAZEBALLS XXX

Welwyn Hatfield Street Warden Team are aware of this dog and we patrol the areas that the dog was last seen on a daily basis. We have been in contact with the keeper and search co-ordinator. In light of this we don't require any further contact from interested parties. Thank-you.

I'm on Wildhill Road so can look up around by the livery stables - any idea what direction she ran off in after car accident? There's the travellers site near that roundabout, worth asking them and also there is Hatfield House estate, so worth getting in touch with the estate manager, so they can look on their grounds? Anyone done that? Joanna 07957932476

A local lady, Lorraine Edwards,is arranging search parties for tomorrow morning - can anyone help please? Here is her post from Rosie's Facebook Group:

I have spoken to Wendy (Rosie's owner ) who has confirmed that Rosie has not been sighted since last Wednesday, where she was clearly injured after being hit by two vehicles. .

There appears to be confusion due to a post made that she was sighted yesterday when in fact the information was relayed to Wendy yesterday but the actual sighting was on Wednesday, so she has now been missing, 5 days without any fresh sightings. It is now important that we flood the area as much as possible with people out looking for her until hopefully we have a new sighting, then the dynamics of the search will change again.

We need as many people as possible please to volunteer to come out and be given a set area to walk and cover If you have a dog, even better, bring him or her along . Please comment below if you are available to assist myself and Wendy to do this and either leave your phone number on the comment or privately pm me if you prefer.

We would like to start with the co ordinated searches on Wednesday of this week and will be meeting at the Rookery Cafe at 10am . Even if you can spare a couple of hours but not for a couple of days ANY HELP is most gratefully received...... WE NEED A SIGHTING OF HER and until we get one WE MUST FLOOD THE AREA to look for her but in an organised manner and leaflet the area as much as possible with her posters. Please print off as many posters as you can please if you are able too, to put up as you go along. If you can laminate or put them in plastic sleeves, even better !

If you have been out on foot lately looking, could you please comment below and state exactly where you have been so we can cross that off for the time being and get resources into areas that have not been looked at yet. Apologies if you have already relayed that information,

Can you share her poster far and wide still , I will be in regular contact with Wendy from now on and team work will hopefully get us a positive result 😁 Come on all you dog lovers, lets help Wendy get her beloved dog home safe and sound ..THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR SUPPORT xx

If anyone needs to talk too me, please feel free to call 07956 349337

Thank you!
DogLostOwl

Sharon sadly the found dog you posted is not Rosie.
