- Cats that "escape" like this usually find refuge in someone garden shed, or the like. Poster around the area he "Escaped" and also post flyers through doors there too. Good idea for the owner to walk around the area, holding an object with his scent on, and rattle some Dremies. /and of course his cat carrier. I would also use the same deodorant you use day to day, as he will recognize the scent. And your the one he trusts. Also take with you an Air Freshener which is regularly used in the house, as it should remind him of his home comforts. Hope Felix is home very soon. Paws xd.Last edited: 2018-12-02 14:33:19
