- Joanna there are still lots looking out for her. Her fb share post is regularly updated to say she is STILL MISSING.
The group NW fb post I’ve done for NW Still Missing posters is regularly also updated and bumped up on Scouse Pets 2.
I am doing anoher NW group share post for lots of NW pets registered on DogLost, which I do every so often and BARLEY will be included in it again.
Always check any breed that maybe similar to her.
Sending you all big hugs. X - 2019-02-19 18:55 Joanna Lacy
- Jan/Admin - I regularly check the found pictures and details. I am worried that if her chip moved and was not detected ( no reason why this should happen I know ) but have been advised it does sometimes and then if there isn't a picture added - then is it possible a 'found' cross breed with wardens could be her and is missed due to no chip detected and then no photo for me to see. realise im probably over thinking this but wondered what your thoughts are? thanks very much - Joanna x p.s hope that makes sense!
- 2019-02-12 18:30 Joanna Lacy

- CROSS POSTED comment last night on the NW local share post I’d done, alerted Joanna to it last night:
I saw stray beige dog yesterday near me i I live near junction 7 was on fields beige colour but dirty looked like eating off fields was rotten - 2018-12-21 21:26 Joanna Lacy
- Stray dog seen this morning by the Park behind the Observatory Pub abut 6 am. Could it of been Barley ? Lady says she couldn't be 100% because it was dark. I am walking that area every day with my other dogs so will continue to look and search in that area. thanks for calls and messages to day. :) also a stray dog was seen in Sutton Manor tonight but nothing there when I drove around that area :(

- thanks Sal yes I agree - im going to print some more poster/flyers and give to local taxi firms! thank you for continuing to look I really do appreciate it honestly I really do :)
- 2018-12-19 13:09 Yorks_sal
- I keep thinking about Barley (and looking) and wondering what I'd do... When driving around people aren't going to see the posters and the details..what about signs that drivers can read? It could just say 'lost dog - beige patterdale terrier' then your number smaller underneath? Also contacting taxi firms (probably done this already). It's very difficult to focus a search as they can cover so much area and then are sightings reliable etc Nightmare. Feel for you I really do. Last edited: 2018-12-19 13:09:40 by Yorks_sal

- thanks to all the lovely people who continue to help and look for Barley when out walking their own dogs and on the move around the area! I received a text today from the 'coffee man' at Widnes Station saying he was told Id found Barley - said a passer by told him a dog was found in a ditch in Knowsley and it was Barley there's nothing on Dogs Found that matches this and I haven't been contacted by anyone. Has anyone else heard anything along these lines? Just checking incase they have. Its probably nothing just wondering if there was any truth in it? Anyone else heard anything like that? Coffee Man says he will ask for more details if he sees them again. Joanna x

- Thanks for the update Joanna and messages. You have done brilliant getting so many posters and flyers posted through letterboxes.
We see dogs reunited after a while all the time. She is microchipped and details up to date. You have done all you can. Know it is not easy for you.
Her fb post will keep being bumped up on groups.
Did you have any luck with media coverage with any local papers? St Helens Star has had good results in the past. There is also a Widnes paper not sure of the name and if the papers are still printed.
Sending you all big hugs. ❤️❤️❤️ - 2018-12-16 09:50 Joanna Lacy
- 2 calls last night from complete strangers re 2 different stray dogs neither were Barley but it does prove the power of social media and flyers to reach everybody. It also shows how many people are willing to help! Thank you :)

- spotted by the park next to observatory pub on the pavement but had gone when the lady went around the roundabout and came back so not sure it was her 100% I mean - you can only hope. thank you for continuing to look, ive been going that way each morning myself . Joanna
- 2018-12-13 10:42 Yorks_sal
- We walked down Sandy lane and around the fields yesterday late afternoon. I'll go walking over that way again today with my little guy. Was she definitely seen by the observatory pub? Was she trotting about on a mission or wandering did they say? You would think a dog wandering about would get more attention but when mine went missing we only received 2 reports so they're stealth animals it seems!
- 2018-12-13 07:13 Joanna Lacy
- thanks to everyone for their messages of support - we are still looking for Barley and will keep going
- 2018-12-11 21:42 Joanna Lacy

I’ve been out twice now but got a chicken cooking for her to take out later, I’ll go around the cronton area where the farmers fields are, let’s hope the smell of hot tasty chicken entices her out of hiding, saying my prayers every single night that this baby is found Last edited: 2018-12-09 10:44:53 by Jo
