TheDogmother
Took him to the vets to be scanned for a chip, nothing. Telephoned the police at 12:30 pm to see if anyone had reported him missing. Left a message on their answerphone. Not telephoned me back. Telephoned RSPCA to see if they had received a phone call sayijng he was lost. The recorded message said phone your local council. They are not open at weekends. Phoned the local pound who said to call the county council. Phoned the county council no answer. Checked local council web site which had an out of hours number. Called that and was on hold for 16 mins. The man didn't seem happy about taking my details but he did. A few mins later and the dogs mum called to say she was at a beer festival, the kids had looked everywhere for him. She is now on her way back to get him. This little dog could have been run over, stolen or lost for ever but if they had only just chipped him he could have been home five hours ago!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
