This is fantastic news, so pleased for you and the lovely dogs! The little monkeys never learn do they! Thank goodness you persevered with your search. I do hope they quickly recover from their ordeal and that they have learned a lesson and stay at home in futureLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi Jazzi We have found our lovely dogs!!!!!! We were doing our usual round of calling down holes and heard some whimpering under the oak tree in the next field to the house. They were stuck in a hole under the tree and we had to dig them out. They have been missing for 13 days and are very thin and stressed with a fair few cuts and bruises. Grimmy the 10year old has fared better than Charlie..we've talked to the vets tonight and will take Charlie in tomorrow..skin and bone but still wants to chase his balls.Thankyou for dogs lost..will keep an eye out for other missing dogs. Julie, many many congratulations. How fantastic you have found them both safe, even though a bit thin. Whooohoooo ! i am over the moon, and you must be too. Hope you will all recover from this ordeal soon, and I'll get them both switched to reunited. Thanks for letting us know. Welcome home Charlie & Grimley xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi Contacted Birmingham dogs home today but no joy. Dog wardens have not heard anything either. Called the environment agency bromsgrove to check no dogs run over..no dogs have been found on the road. We are thinking they must be down a hole or have been picked up by someone. Hi. Thanks for your help. I will lok for a photo of charlies face. Grimley picture (the brown dog) is on her listing. Charlie is a tough cookie to photograph and he mainly like to have his nose to the floor. Have checked with dogs homes today but no news. No news from local dog warden.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Charlie and Grimley seen in the picture together broke out of the garden at about 4.30pm on the 5th June. They love digging and holes and may have gone down a badgers/fox hole nearby (they are both rescue dogs with a working dog history). This was their second break out in 2 weeks and this time through pig wire and chicken wire. There have been no sightings since as far as we are aware. They are firendly to humans although grimley the older girl does not like other dogs. she has blunt teeth though so cant do much damage. Charlie barks when he is nervous but calms down if you put your hands down to him..beware he licks faces!! any news please let us know we are missing them desperatelyLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
