- That's wonderful news. That's the second Nellie (the other one was Nelly with a 'y') that has been reunited in a matter of days. Well done to the lovely, caring people who enticed her into their home with food! Welcome home Nellie and make the most of all the extra fuss and TLC!

- After leaving details to owners if they needed further help was pleasantly surprised to recieve a phone call on my mobile to tell me Nellie has been found. they had been trying to make contact since july 7th ( I believe that is the date) unfortunately I was out walking and traffic noise made it difficult. It appears a poster at allington vets ( my own surgery - well my dogs ! was spotted by someone who had seen a stray dog living rough in north pole woods. alerting owners - all the houses were made aware as she had been spotted in gardens- probably looking for food. One of these houses spotted her again and tempted her into their home wioth some food. They then phoned the owners to collect. She was a bit thin due to living rough all this time but has now happily settled back home.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
