Sighting of Pearl reported by train driver in Hunsbury Hill Tunnel - awaiting update -
"Nicki Mosca-Kyne Hi, I am a train driver for London NorthWestern, I have just seen Pearl (2am 31/12/18) in Hunsbury Hill Tunnel on the railway. I believe another driver has also seen her here. I reported to my signaller who sent someone to look in the tunnel but I have not been updated. But she is definately around that area"Last edited: 2018-12-31 10:51:23 by Captain

It has now been a week an no sign of Pearl since the day she went missing on 23rd December 2018 at 2:15pm from NN5 lst seen approx 2:30-2:45pm near Victoria Park. A small dog (No more description) was seen that day crossing the river at the park over to the Traintracks which is Northampton Train Station NMP. I have asked them and Network rail to check multiple times incase it is her. I cant get to the land. I have also requested snifferdog help to no avail. She may have been stolen. She could still be out there. She sadly may nk longer be with us but we dont know.

Please see one of the many posts I have made and keep sharing she must come home!😒

Map showing inaccessible area relating to possible sighting in Victoria Park on 23rd December (circled red to right of question mark) - https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10218010206510497&set=p.10218010206510497&type=3&theater&ifg=1
Can anyone help with getting permission to access area for a search / asking anyone with access (e.g. workers) to look out for little Pearl?
Georgy Porgy
You have done incredibly well so far with everything & keeping up the momentum & information. I know how exhausting it is. Apparently lost dogs can go into survival mode very quickly & may not respond to being called even by the owner. I know of the area of land you are referring to. Hope you can get access to it. Does she have a favourite squeaky toy? She may get drawn towards the smell of food at the cafe. Keeping fingers crossed for good news.
MarkDog84
Someone was walking their dog in Victoria Park NN5 Northampton Sunday 23rd and said 2 kids ran up to say a dog running across the park crossed the river to the train tracks. Its all inaccesible land I cant get to unless Network Rail gave me access and if she is there hiding she wont have long left. I have just asked Network Rail to check again for me and to kwep looking its a big bit of land that is between Spencer Bridge Road, Super sausage Cafe and the Train station. Praying she is ok and comes home soon if it is her. Still missing :(
MarkDog84
I had a phonecall tonight to say that my dog was seen by someone called Arthur Gokoko being handed into a shopkeeper in Stanley Street Semilong 3 days ago. I went to both shops in Stanley Street and both had not seen her. The shop at the top said that the dog handed in was a Pug which is not the breed of my dog as mine is a Jack Russell X Chau. I have messaged 2 Arthur Gokoko's that I can find on here in Northampton so hoping they respond so I can send some more pictures just to make sure. Also if someone does know of a Pug being handed into a Shopkeeper in Semilong Northampton 3 days ago please can you let me know if you lost a Pug in the area on 24th December. My Dog is still missing and desperatley need to get her home. I have been searching non stop and covered alot of ground and spent endless hours and there is no sign of her. Local Dog Warden, Council, Police County Control room,Network Rail, Local radio contacted, shared on various groups on here and my page, scented bedding left out, posters put up and more will be going up. I have also been to Forrest Lodge and she is not there. Local Vets contacted, Chip Company so she is now listed as missing. She wont come when called meaning she is not in the areas I have been searching, scared and confused and hiding in places ive missed, Or been knowlingly taken, I have spent approx 16-18 hrs a day searching alot of areas and trying to reply and like and thank everyone here for sharing since the day she went missing on 23rd December. I am drained but cant stop or give up looking. Please keep sharing and contact if seen or hand her in and Thankyou very much to all of you that have shared so far please keep this going it is now day 6 she has been missing!! πŸ™

Hi Georgy I have messaged K9 Tracker but await a response. Thanks again praying she is home soon!
Georgy Porgy
Ok will keep eyes peeled. You could try K9 tracker. Jenni & her trained tracker dogs. Not local but may be able to help. Have noticed a few people on Doglost have contacted her for help, think it has to be done online. Good luck.
MarkDog84
Hi George, Her regular route is the block of Scottish streets that are rectangular on the map nn5 5bj. She has ventured out of familiar ground. Harlestone firs she knows but I usually drive there with her from where I live. I have searched a lot and no sign or sightings. I have checked all of Victoria Park (last seen near) but no idea where she is or if now stolen. I checked all the canals and walkways dodgy underbridges where homeless and junkies live, needles and filth everywhere. worried they may hide her or she is hiding somewhere, anywhere by now? or like I said now stolen. No clue or sightings whatsoever. I need a sniffer dog. Thanks again
Georgy Porgy
I live close to Northampton & come into St James regularily so just wondering which areas are familiar to Pearl on her walks? Also thinking river bank, ditches (little legs), any homeless people with dogs on the square. Will keep a look out.
MarkDog84

Possible sighting in Kingsthorpe Northampton NN2 Dec 26th @ approx 16:30. Not 100% sure but very similar description of my dog reported seen running under the main gates of the Allotments near Buddies USA Diner. A lady was walking her Husky and seen a dog matching my dog's description with what was thought to be the owner shouting it's name with a Green Collar in their hand shouting for the dog as it escaped trying to catch it.

The person walking their Husky tried to call the dog over too but it ran away. The person walking their dog can not recall the name being shouted but the dog did not seem to know this person trying to catch it collar in hand. I sent pictures to the witness and they said they are pretty sure it is her. I have been here and called her and no sign still. I have left a scent to draw her out if still in the area and if my dog and also left food the other sode of the gates. It is too dark to see anything. I am not sure if it is her but please keep sharing and thankyou!!!
MarkDog84
Someone somewhere must have seen her or has her! Please help me find her she needs her medication my dog is still missing!

Day#4... I am still looking for my dog missing since 23rd December 2:15pm. It is now day 4 and there is still no sign. She was last seen heading towards Victoria Park on Spencer Bridge Road, St James, Northampton NN5 at 2:30pm Sunday Dec 23rd. She is wearing a Green Collar with a Purple/pink metallic tag with phone number on it.

The map shows a Red dot for where she went missing from and the blue dots are the last confirmed sightings.

Please share far and wide I really need to get her home ASAP and she needs her medication. She could still be in the area scared and hiding. Please check all gararges and out buildings, gardens, hiding places. She may be injured we just don't know.

Alternatively someone may have her as there has been no confirmed sighting since and the trail is cold at Victoria Park with no more sightings.

My brothers dog followed my dog's scent to sighting 1 and then onto Victoria Park and then the trail goes cold.I have searched local streets and alleyways, parks.

I have even searched the Racecourse as a small dog was hit on the same day but unable to confirm if it was my dog or not as the witness said it was dark at this point. This injured dog ran onto the racecourse. We could not find any dog on the racecourse but looked everywhere. She is small so is good at hiding. Multiple locations searched night and day.

I have contacted the local Authorites and Police county control room, Vets, doglost.co.uk, A couple of Drone and Ground search teams, Network Rail, Chronicle & Echo, Local Radio Station, Dog Warden, Local Animal shelters, I have knocked on doors. She is microchipped and we have contacted them. I will not stop searching until I get her home!

Please keep sharing far and wide and Thankyou to those of you that have shared and especially to those of you that have been out searching for her as I have I really appreciate it.

REWARD for the safe return of my dog.

Please call 01604 589409 or 07803348691 if seen. Thankyou!

Posters are up in a couple of areas. I ran out so more are being printed and laminated. Still no sign. Last sighting 23rd December 2018 at 2:30pm Near Victoria Park, Spencer Bridge Road, Northampton NN5

Would be an idea to get posters up in that area, how far is it from home? x
MarkDog84
That is a red herring. I was told at 530pm on 23rd that she was last seen at Victoria Park at 230pm not 530pm! Thanks
