So sorry to hear about the loss of your beautiful girl. Nightie, night Nuala, sleep tight, and have fun at the bridge with the other "Rainbow babes" who are waiting to play. RIP+ God Bless x A|||Candle|||burns for you sweet Nuala. Run free (HUG) X One day when the time is right, you will meet your girl at the bridge. Forever together. Now with the Angels, surrounded by love. Nuala leaves behind the happy memories you had with her. And her paw prints etched on your hearts.
Please look down on your family Nuala, who really need your strength at this very sad time for them.Last edited: 2019-01-12 21:32:50

Very sad news just posted to Nuala's page I'm afraid :(

Sad news... Nuala's body was found in Mean Wood today 12 January. It seems that she must have died suddenly, whilst running in the woods she knew so well. RIP Nuala.

So very very sorry. Run free sweet Nuala. My thoughts are with your family xx

We have been following up a possible sighting in Lockerley in 27th Dec, posters are now up in the area and on the footpaths. Talked to quite a few dog walkers but no sign. Will be heading back to walk the footpath on the Dean Hill, between Mead Wood and Lockerley. Lovely to speak with Nuala’s owner and daughter xxLast edited: 2019-01-08 19:07:12 by Jenny B

Yesterday we went to Hayter, Landford and Mean Woods, the woods were unfortunately too dense for me to walk my old and tiny dogs through so we drove round for about an hour and put up more posters. We don't know the area so if there is some clear walk areas, please let me know so that I can go walking and try to find her. JK x

Karen and I met with the lady who saw the ‘collie’ type dog running down Miles Lane on Christmas Eve, it’s the only sighting we have so I think we need to start looking in the woods surrounding the A27 - Hayter and Landford, but still need to cover Mean Woods as well. I really hope we have some news soon xLast edited: 2019-01-03 22:21:12 by Jenny B

I’ve had a wander around Mean Wood today but no sign of Nuala, bumped into a man on the footpath also searching. Lots of posters in the area, I put up a few more higher up at the top entrance.

A FB group has been set up for Nuala. Still no sign despite daily searches in the area she was last seen. More postering will be going up tomorrow.
Jenny B
I will be heading back to help with postering in the next few days x

We have been with the owners this evening searching the woods with night vision glasses and thermal glasses but no sign.
There has been a possible sighting of a collie type dog being chased by a man down Miles Lane at 4:30pm on Christmas Eve - heading towards the A27. We can’t confirm this is Nuala but we are keen to speak to the man to get a better description.

was planning on going for a walk with my girlfriend yesterday so decided to do a circular walk around whiteparish to include the ridgeway and through the wood where she was lost, unfortanetly no sign, spoke to a few other walkers and horse riders and bumped into one of the owners. if anyone goes walking in the area an ordance survey map would be useful (number 131) if your not familier with the area as the majority of signs for bridleways and walk arrows we found to be damaged (looks like deliberate vandilism) which makes following any walk very difficult so an OS map is essential. Hope she is found, will pop up that way again in a few days. Good luck.Last edited: 2018-12-30 07:58:59 by boristhebold
