I’m pleased to say she has now been found and taken in by New Hope Animal Rescue.

If you search female lurcher called scruffy on here you will find her...am sure it's her because they though his dog was in stray aid wich seems to my dog as we have very similar but hopefully this is her and can reunite her to her original family

HI do you have any more photos ov her someone has one missing from Scotland has been missing for months her name is scruffy!!

I'm so glad that there has been a following on this poor girl, thank you all.

My heart goes out to her. Surely the situation can't be left like this owned or not . I agree with Kinsally some intervention is needed or this dog will continue to suffer or get injured running loose. Her welfare is surely a priority here. Last edited: 2019-01-06 11:27:40 by LoveSpringers

This is even more heartbreaking that this poor girl has an owner, this is a serious case of sheer and utter neglect. I feel so very sad for her that she is in such a pitiful condition. Maybe the ‘owner’ needs a visit from the local dog warden or RSPCA about her welfare.
NICK ABBOT
Thanks for all your comments. It now appears that the dog is owned locally - but obviously not looked after well.

Jayne and Ray thank you both so so much. Fingers crossed and praying for this girl that she can be found and get the help that she so desperately needs. Last edited: 2019-01-05 17:36:45 by Kinsally

Hi, I am just over 2 HOURS away sadly the phone number is not correct, if anyone can either check this one is still about, and needing HELP and call me, or could NICK ABBOT get in touch. I am more than willing to sort her out.. If she has MANGE it can easily be cured but it can destroy them mentally..WHY do lurchers ALLWAYS get the short straw?? RAY 01564823244 ANYTIME.

Yes Georgy Porgy I wish alerts could be sent out too in these situations that is such a good idea and maybe that’s something that could be considered being done to alert helpers to help these poor lost dogs x

This poor poor girl. Is there anything anyone can do for her? Can a feeding station be set up in view of trapping her?
Is there any Doglost members that can help please. I’m so far away but really worrying about this poor baby. This is so sad x
