Hi all, not quite sure the best avenue to go down for this. I was driving back from Kingston today and crossing over the fly over on Coombe lane (going towards Raynes Park) a Labrador came running towards me. He looked really spooked and was zig zagging through the traffic. I turned the car round and drove to try and find him, I managed to get him to stop after a few cars swerved to miss him (this was going towards Kingston hospital at this point) but as soon as I got too close he darted off again down a private road called West Road off Coombe Lane. Myself and another car stopped and spent some time looking in the gardens with the neighbours but to no avail.
He/ she was a young light golden lab with what looked like a tan/ orange colour collar. A slight limp so suspect perhaps had been hit and I know with our dogs this can cause them to run off & hide. I have called the local vets as hate the thought that someone in frantic for worry and doesn’t know where to look for their beloved dog. Sorry I couldn’t do more.... this was about 4:15pm this afternoon - 2019-01-03 17:56 JAY D
