Message from owner, thanks to POSTER POWER, Nelson is now safely back home.  Someone claimed to have purchased him from someone local.  Owner persuing the matter with the police.  Welcome home Nelson xxx

I am so sorry to hear thieves have stolen Nelson. You need to get posters up everywhere and make him too hot to handle. Be sure to poster all the pubs, vets and dog training clubs. Try to get local taxi drivers and postmen to keep a look out for him and if at all possible get a story in your local paper. Good thing that he is microchipped. Make sure the dog warden knows he has been stolen just in case they dump him and visit all the rescue centres in your area on a regular basis. Do you have any more details about the theft and are the police involved, if not make sure you report it and insist upon being given a crime number so that the incident is logged.
