thank you from us all for your help. Courage had lost 4 kg and is very skinny, she has had her vet check, vitamins etc. but she is home and enjoying the comforts of her owners bed etc. xx

I am so pleased to be moving this old lady into the blue. I've been so worried about her but, now she is home a little the worse for wear but, she is in the warm and safe. Thank you so much to all (you know who you are!) you lovely ladies for giving up your time and helping in all weathers. You are all stars.

Female chow found & taken to East Grinstead vets today. Now with dog warden. No colour stated. Says not chipped but often hard to find. Sharing just in case.
Adele
team aware, trap in location. had to call it a day in early hours as too cold. hope for some good news soon.
in meantime please keep sharing and reporting sightings to Veronique x
on doglost south facebook page.

canine capture team member is aware and making contact.

i have been advised there were two sightings today, one at 2 am and another at 1pm.
the owner has seen her dog but it ran away from her, unfortunately. A doglost volunteer has advised her against chasing and calling her dog, and recommended feeding in the rough area and leaving her dog overnight to settle, let her conserve her energy and keep warm. cameras and trap are on standby. hoping it wont be as cold tonight as weather forcast is saying.
please Do not attempt to chase, call or follow this dog she is in survival mode and very close to roads.
Adele
thanks for the update Lisa, good luck x
Adele
hi
if she is still in the neighbourhood she may well be trying to find home or the car. i highly recommend leaving dirty laundry out, hang on the line at home.
also hang from tree in the car park so that is wafts about. by dirty linen i mean clothes that have been very close to owners body, ie nightdress t shirt. keep replacing. if not already done so, please ensure food is being left in the car park area from 5 pm onwards. we can use wildlife cameras to check to see if she is finding the car park to eat, but we need to know that the food is being put down before we can use the cameras. Thank you xLast edited: 2019-01-30 18:10:07 by Adele

Shillinglee is home but always walked from car so she has no idea how to get there. Posters have been put out and door to door knocking has been done. Also locals informed by village shop.
Adele
please could local people put out some food, wet dog food, if they suspect Courage is anywhere in their neighbourhood? she needs to find food to keep her warm and secure. most lost dogs gravitate towards horses, barns etc and manure heaps. are there any areas like that close by?
have leaflets been distributed? postman alerted? posters up so that sightings can be reported ASAP?
Adele
where is home, could she be trying to find it?
Lisa
Owner out looking

There has been a sighting of Courage this morning. She was seen between the Mulberry Arms pub & the crossroads to Shillinglee. She ran away across the fields on the opposite side of the A road. Towards shinglngle direction. Closer to home but she doesn’t know how to get homeLast edited: 2019-01-25 13:35:27 by Lisa

If anyone can go out and help, the owner would be very grateful. She doesn’t know many people in the area and she is shattered.
