- Hands and Paws and I went out with a different tracker dog, who confirmed what yesterday's dog found and took the trail off the lane and down a path leading through light woodland and scrub alongside the pit top area in the direction of Thurcroft. Eventually we stopped as dog getting tired, and retraced our steps. There is a large area near the pit top where loads of gravel and hardcore are being tipped. Dog suddenly indicated that we should go up there, and we found a completely different dog but had no chance of luring him/her. Big ginger lurcher, looked fit and was very fast. I will make a page in the Found section as sighted only. Many people are out searching but have concentrated on the woodland near home. After today's findings we think more publicity is needed around Thurcroft.

- Thank you Sharon. I have checked and that dog is not Crumpet, and is now reunited.

- Been out last night with a tracking dog. Crumpet may have wandered towards Carr village. Resumed search this morning on foot with other volunteers. Checked lanes and area where lost, no signs of her so far
