- Other Info electricians have left the door open and scared him defo not in the building ( pet shop cat ) never goes on the main road only sometimes goes in back yard quite timid but may come to dogs because he likes dogs not cats His rear heels have little bald patches on that are visible

So pleased you are safe. He will probably be a little clingy for a while now. Cats are so inquisitive aren`t they? - If all else fails, i would borrow a cat trap from an Animal Rescue Centre, or Cat Protection, (I think for a small donation) and place inside an object with his scent on; your scent, and the dogs too. I wouldn`t put treats in at this stage because of other cats etc.

- House cast that "Escape" like this will feel anxious being out of their comfort zone which is in their own homes with people they trust. And tend to hide close by. A door he has access to, open wide, and stand aside. Don`t block his entrance or he may see it as a "Threat" and run away again. Put some tuna, or chicken in his dish, and place it about twice the width of the door. Rattle some treats too. Place his UNWASHED blanket into a clean container, along with your scent, and the dogs too. Place it about 2 metres from the open door. Check ALL outbuildings, and neighbours gardens too.
