Walked up to Riccaldale from Helmsley earlier.... listened for barking etc but no sign...... Definitely suggest bbqing sausages outdoors to try and lure him back-but guess he could be underground or entangled?

I can't say for certain as it was dark but I think a small brown dog crossed the road in front of me today at approx 5pm. It ran through the hedge into a field. My son got out the car to look for it but it had disappeared. I was on the road from Wombleton to Harome. I saw it near the Gale Lane junction, at the Harome side of the junction. It went into one of the fields which leads on to the airfield. I wish I could be more certain of what I saw, I hope Hector is found very soon x
