Thanks Dekkann - If only owners would check the site regularly. Very frustrating to have a  possible match and not be able to contact owners.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

In a spare hour or so I rang every vet in and around the area, sadly no luck. Have emailed PMD rescue in case owners informed them. There was one vet who was never there will try tomorrow.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I am afraid owners are not registered with us we must have put details on via the phone. The rescue are ringing all vets in the area to see if Timba is registered to them. No names of owners as yet.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Unfortunately we have very limited details on the owner. details came in via a phone message and despite many attempts the owners have never got back to us. Apart from a mobile number we have no other details. Many calls have been made and text sent but until they get in touch with us we are at a lost as to what we can do.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I sent a text yesterday afternoon - asking them to call doglost as  a matter of urgency - no response as yet but lets hope someone gets the message soon.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Perhaps a text should be sent to the owners,  If they are away on holiday they might turn it on now and again. I do hope this is their dog. It is looking very promising.

Tried ringing the mobile number.  Timba's owner may well be on holiday and their mobile phone has been switched off.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Meant to say it is important they are found quickly as legally this dog can be rehomed after just 7 days in kennels if the owners are not found.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Raly as you are very local to the missing dog is there anyway you could ask around for the owners details as no-one can get them on the phone. Try local post office they might be able to give you an address.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Please make sure that you describe Timba fully when calling rescues and the dog warden- If I remember correctly the last PMD on here has been logged as a large golden retriever at the kennel that he had been handed into.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I am in LU7, very distictive dog so if out should be easy to spot, please contact Appledown in Eaton Bray,, as they will get all "lost" dogs handed in there, good luck and will keep eyes ears open on dog walks. xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Good that you have got a picture on line so quickly. Print off as many posters as you can and put them up everywhere. The Asian couple may see the posters and get in touch. If however they are thinking of selling him on, the posters will make him too hot to handle so act quickly. Contact all local vets, as taxi drivers and postmen to look out for him and be sure to let the dog warden know he is missing. Sorry I am too far away to help, good luck with the search.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
