If Midchief is unneutered he may have gone seeking a mate, and they can stay away for a long time becasue they sometimes they becaome lost, and disorientated. Presume you checked ALL outbuildings, including empty hosues., and cellars, THOROUGHLY as some cats eill hide in. or behibd an object within, especially if timid. Ask friends, and neighbours to share as well as DL. Poster around local areas, and post fkyers through doors too. Ask around, espoecially those with children, as they can be very observant. Poster in shops, post office etc. Hand out as many posters as you can; whre, and when you can. Post a LOST CAT ad in a National newspaper in case he has climbed into a vehicle, , which isn`t uncommon for cats to do. Also is there a dominat cat in the area?
As sometimes they will chase a cat out of it`s own territory. Howevewr the cat
usually returns when they think it`s "Safe" enough fior them to do so, unless they also become lost, and disorientated. Paws xd.

• Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.

• If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
• Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
