I have just received confirmation that sadly Penelope has gone to Rainbow Bridge.Now confirmed i can update at owners request.RIP Penelope thinking of Sharon at this very sad time xxx

There has been a report of a Black and White dog been picked up on the M60. The highways have informed Penelope's owner it could take up to 48 hours to confirm if Penelope or not.I will update once we have the relevant information.

I was following the owners original post on FB yesterday & have been constantly checking back for updates today. Although owner states Penelope was lost near the Hall in Heaton Park, there were comments from witnesses which state she exited the park at the entrance opposite Sainsbury’s and headed towards the houses, I’m guessing they mean Heaton Park road but not sure? In that case, last sighting would have been M9 area.
Another comment did go on the post this morning from a witness stating she was heading towards the motorway and a lady was following her? If she is still out there, there is a number of postcode areas she could be in. I live opposite Heaton Park & have Blackley forest running at the back of my house. I did message the owner last night for further information but I imagine she has been out searching over the past 24+ hours. My friend & her husband came down last night around 10pm & walked around the back of Sainsbury’s. There is a walk from Heaton Park Road which runs behind Sainsbury’s and comes out opposite Sainsbury’s garage.
Praying she is found very soon x
