Fantastic news, Tiggy was spotted walking through the main village street she still had her lead attache, although it was very dirty. She ran for cover into a garden. It took a local male lab to sniff out her hiding place and she was so frightened she had to be carried home, her legs just wouldnt work bless her. She was literally stiff with fright. She is now resting on the sofa having had a little food and water and is so tired she will soon be asleep and recovering from her scary adventure.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

We are forming a search party for Tiggy tomorrow, Wednesday 18th June. Is there anyone out there in the Witney/Ramsden area that would come and help in the afternoon?Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

So sorry to hear this. Poor baby, only been in her new rescue home for a few hours and was spooked by a loud noise in the garden. She has shot through the hedge with her lead still attached. Hopefully she will have run for cover, and will still be in the area. Do not be surprised if she doesn't surface for a day or so due to the fright. However you are best to raly people she knows perhaps from before she was rehomed, and also walk the area with any dogs she would recognise the scent of. Best to not overcrowd this dog with people if seen, as could make matters worse, but I understand you need to search the area to see if she is caught up with the lead. If she has gone to ground, the best tiime to spot her over the next few hours is break of day when she may be out hunting, and also evening time with rabbits about. Good luck, and get the posters out.  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
