Possible sighting of a dark dog (but maybe a badger) running along Riverside Road and headed into the Church at 1am this morning - this isn’t far from the fields Sally was last sighted. Owner is aware and following up tomorrow. Last edited: 2019-02-02 22:44:53 by Jenny B

Copied from Facebook 1st Feb. " Yesterday evening a deceased dog was bought into Harvest Vets- Maid"enbower, Crawley West Sussex by police. Was described as a liver/brown spaniel type dog. Is microchipped but hasn't been registered to database. No collar. Was found on M23 (unsure exactly where) Police and Harvest staff have advised not to view dog due to injuries sustained. Also unsure of gender due to injuries. We have the chip number so hopefully can be ID'd this way. Police CAD number is 890 31/1/19 " If Sally was stolen she may have been dumped ?? Hope she is home soon.

I have been up to the area this morning to have a walk along the footpath and the field Sally was last seen. There is open access to the railway line higher up and easy access to the main road (no fencing at all). The fields are all open without fencing but there is a lot of hedgerow - bumped into lots of dog walkers but no one has seen her.

Sharing on twitter and instagram for Sally. Hope she is found soon . There is a found chocolate cocker in Kent - chip says Coco - doubt it’s her, but did text owner to take a look just in case . Paws crossed 🐾
