Thank you @ashtonsouthwell - I was trying to see his feet before I posted. Thought too grey anyway but worth a shot. Are there any other photos of Bear?. I was so hopeful that day when there was a sighting close to home [think you posted that one?] and the one in NE34 day before too. Will share again for Bear today to keep him in peoples minds x

Anyone missing this grey hound. ?
He’s black with a white flash on his chest. Has splashes of paint on him. Seen on the track just up from Pea farm towards New Kyo etc.
I can’t take him in as I have 2 bitches.
He has no collar on.

There is a black Greyhound with a white patch with a blue collar on and red light I have been down to the area and met with people who spotted him. He’s a positive match to his photos but can’t be 100% sure until he’s caught safely and checked over
In the halesowen area B63 on the back field behind Calson primary school on beeches view avenue

Crumbs. Shared to twitter and instagram . Seems a coincidence with the possible sighting yesterday in NE34. Hope that someone local to area will know the outcome of the NE34 one. Paws crossed though that this IS Bear, closer to home. Really hope he can be found , paws crossed 🐾

Please approach with caution he’s very timid and looks like he’s got a limp from witnesses who have seen this black greyhound with a blue collar on

I’ve asked admin if it’s possible to notify local volunteers to this sighted area NE34 in case they see the dog (they may also be aware of a local one too so in terms of eliminating Bear it would be excellent to have local knowledge). Would recommend contacting the local dog warden too - “Council's Contact Centre on 0191 427 7000. The Animal Welfare Officer will collect the dog as soon as possible.

This service is available between the hours of 8.30am - 5pm, Monday - Friday. An out-of-hours dog collection service is available until 10pm on weekdays and at weekends, however there is no collection service outside of these hours” . Really got my paws crossed for Bear now 🐾🐾

I have contacted the kennels near by where Bear could possibly be,
I have contacted all relevant partys who where involved when Bear first went missing from us.
I have given Chip number and Tattoo ID too so if this is Bear we should know once someone is able to get to him safely.
If any one reading this near by Bear is scared of non greyhound breads of dogs Bear is a timid dog please approach with care.
His chip number is up to date as if this is bear he’s over 189 miles from home.

Keep making Bear "TOO HOT TO HANDLE" Poster around the area, and post flyers through doors too. Post in shops, post offices too. Hand out as many posters as you can; where, and when you can. Post a STOLEN DOG ad in a national newspaper too. I know the area well, and will be keeping a lookout tomorrow. Hope his microchip works it`s magic. Paws xd.

There have been no sightings of Bear & it is thought he may have been taken, he has been reported to the Police, a CRN has been issued, changing his status to stolen & adding CRN detail x
