Brilliant that he is home safe. There is a long post on the fb page about how/why he was shot (15 shotgun pellets found in his backside). I am not sure it is appropriate to reproduce it here, but if you have a look on the page, the story is there. It sounds like Jakey did not do anything wrong. x

by a Farmer ? altho I had read somewhere that farmers had been alerted that Jakey was running scared in the area ?

Great news. And well done Team Jakey. He is bound to have nightmares isn`t he? (Horrible dreams to have) He follows you around, because he needs reassurance from you that he is now safe. With lots of tlc from you, sure the nightmares will cease, but of course it will take time. And sorry he has been shot, so sending Jakey healing thoughts for his full recovery. Hi Everyone, he was very unsettled last night, crying, up and down, dreaming when asleep, think it will take time for him to realise he's safe etc. If I moved he moved and cried. Today Im starting him off on 4 meals a day to build him up slowly, then 3 and back to normal in a week or so. He's gulping his food down poor thing, We'll get there but it just going to take time. He's made sure my face is clean with loads n loads of licks (mind you I've not had a wash for over a week!), I don't know who's smellier me or him. Love you all and words can not thank you all enough for everything you have done for our baby, You are the most special people w have ever met and you will always be in our hearts, thoughts and minds, always. Without you we wouldn't have our baby home. xxxxxx I will keep you updated on his progressxxxxx

Please, please everyone look for this boy, his name is Jakey, he is two years old, neutered and microchipped, Jakey has been seen in the wainstalls area today near the crossroads pub, if anyone knows any farmers in that area also can you ask if they see him to contact and if possible to secure him, he is shy and will be hungry, if you see him and have a ball please throw it for him, if he comes in your garden please try shut the gate and offer him some food, his owners are desperate to get him home safe, if you do see him please contact Rachael on 07814025707, Kenny on 07930980897 or myself on 07891163555, there is also a reward for the safe return of this beautiful boy should anyone find him.

Have been alerted to sightings in the HX2 area, yesterday afternoon, they tried the number on the poster a few times but had no reply. Rachael has now been tracked and given the details but not replied to the messages.
