Hello Carolynl - they do look so similar don’t they? But Jessie didn’t go missing until 27th Feb and this one found before then so can’t be her. Someone must be missing this one though? Odd that nobody has come forward 🐾

Yes Willow those marks on her nose are a bit disconcerting. She looks to be a beautiful dog. Hopefully she has a loving family looking out for her xx

Thankyou all for sharing and concerns I have someone comeing out scan her in morning and in touch with alot people and she has been bought to Leeds as we were on are way home and spoke to people around erea were she was found and no one wanted to take her there was no maned police station any were near were we was that's why she is here safe and settled not running down main road scared to death alot people tried to catch her when stopped and for some unknown resons she choose to come me we are hope fully gona reunite her to her rightful owners but if it's not case we will look at alternative possibilities that are best for her many thanks please shareHelen can you copy and paste this at the top of your post so everyone can see it. I have put it in a comment but not everyone will see it where it is. Thank you.
UPDATE: I have been in touch with the microchip company, this has taken a bit longer than usual as it is a foreign chip. Unfortunately they cannot get any information that will help to trace her owner. the breeder can't supply this info either as the dog was sold on to a trader in the UK. I have looked at the dog lost site and I have sent a message to one owner asking them to check the post for this dog. There is a similarity between the two. But it's a long shot as the dog went missing a few years ago so owner may not check the site. I do have information that only the owner would know so I can be sure that she goes back to the correct person should they come forward. In the meantime she looks very happy with Helen Stewart.

This girl is staying with finder currently who is caring for and loving her. She’s been checked over at the vet and is feeling a lot happier. No trace of owner and chip unregistered.

I’d really love to be notified if this beauty isn’t returned to it’s owners & what the options would be if the current carers were looking for a new home 🧡
I’ve had a heartbreaking loss this weekend with my cockerpoo, she was registered on this wonderful site but it was too late for anyone to take action as she was found hit by a car 💔💔💔

I have checked against all suggestions of missing dogs I have seen & also checked the microchip number in the Doglost database to check if the dog is registered as missing on our site. If you think this could be your dog & you do not have your dogs microchip on their lost page please add it & let us know by emailing stolen@doglost.co.uk - the number on the page is for the dog warden who has all of the details of this found dog x

Thank you for taking the time to list this found dog and ensuring the safety of the dog.
Please ensure that you notify your local Dog Warden and the local Police Station - in Scotland you MUST inform your local Police Station and if possible contact the Dog Warden also.
The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
Please check on our Missing pages in case the Found dog has been registered as missing with us.
If possible please add a photo as this greatly assists our work in matching Found dogs with Missing dogs.
