I am so pleased to say that I  had a call from Max's owner to say he is back home again !!!  He was seen running around not far from his home on the day he went missing by a motorist. The next day he saw Max again this time being chased by some youths. He managed to catch Max and after asking locally if anyone knew where he came from he took Max home with him which is a few miles away. Max's owner had put posters up and also had one in her car which a relative of the finder saw and informed him about it. This resulted in Max being reunited ! Poster power again ! Max's owner has asked me to pass on her very grateful thanks to the finder and also to post a thankyou to this website. I would also like to say a very BIG thankyou to the gentleman who found Max, cared for him, kept him safe and took the time to reunite him ! I wish there were more people out there like him ! Max is going to get a chip and a new tag ASAP ! Welcome home little Schnauzer boy and stay safe from now on xxx PamLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Have just spoken to Max's owner and she will be sending a photo to admin tomorrow. She has already done some postering and contacted pounds. I have advised she checks regularly with pounds and tries to visit them in person.Max has not had his coat cut for sometime and it is quite long and fluffy so he may not be immediately indentified as a Mini Schnauzer  and this needs to be stressed to pounds, vets and dog warden. The need to poster widely is vital ! Pam xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
