- Just thinking of Rossi the other day, it must be so heartwrenching each anniversary that passes with no knowing 💔 I hope and pray with you that one day she will come home; and that one day is not too far on the horizon.
Marbie-: I also follow China and Lucky. China is in my county and as you say, there have been sightings..he just keeps going, but thankfully seems okay. Lucky is from my Dad's family county - and they too have shared for Lucky. I too hope that they all will be reunited one day 🐾🏡🤞🙏 - 2022-02-25 01:16 Marbie
- I still look to see if there is any news about Rossi and Lucky and China :( I hope they are all happy somewhere although I know there have been sightings of China there doesn't seem to have been any of Rossi or Lucky. It must be agonising for their owners and hopefully they will be reunited one day soon xxx

"Morning everyone. We have had reports of a yellow Labrador sighted on its own up by pine cone viewpoint last weekend in the pouring rain. It was described as being thin and dirty.
The mountain bikers who seen the lab said they spoke to a local father who said he has seen this dog before in the area crossing his fields.
The lab was previously seen running into woods in the area carrying a dead rabbit in its mouth.
We don’t know if this could be Rossi but it’s definitely being followed up and we would appreciate if everyone can keep looking out for Rossi (and Eddie) in the Hermitage.
Thank you ❤️" - 2019-12-22 01:42 Carolynl

- .... and another update from Help Find Rossi:
"Evening everyone, we have received some information this evening regarding a sighting of a yellow Labrador that we would like to try and find out more about.
Around 09/09/19 a lady was walking back down from the Rumbling Bridge in Dunkeld with a friend when they saw a skinny yellow lab. They at first thought it was with people walking nearby but it ran up the path back towards Rumbling Bridge. It was wearing a dark collar, quite small and on the darker side for a yellow Labrador. It was described as being quite thin too and frightened but did interact with the lady’s dog for a short while but they were unable to catch it.
Rumbling Bridge is a bit further along the river from where Rossi had her accident. We don’t know if this could be her or another dog walking in the area but we would like to try and find out more.
Please share and please get in touch if you have any information on this yellow lab ❤️" - 2019-09-23 18:16 GeoffA - Area Volunteer - Cornwall, Scotland & Northumberland

"***ROSSI UPDATE, 23/09/19, 17:45PM***
Hi everyone, I just wanted to update you on the behalf on Rossi’s family some information that has come through regarding the yellow lab sighting today at Loch Kinardochy in Perthshire.
Rossi’s family and myself have received information that the lab which has been sighted at the loch isn’t Rossi but one that lives in the area and has been known to wander. It’s safe and has a home nearby.
We want to thank everyone for their overwhelming support by sharing the last post along with the kind offers of help incase it was her.
The search to bring Rossi home continues and myself along with other volunteers and you guys I know will do all we can to help that.
Please do help us keep Rossi in the public eye by sharing her missing poster far and wide in the hope the next sighting will be her." - 2019-09-23 16:28 GeoffA - Area Volunteer - Cornwall, Scotland & Northumberland

"Possible sighting of a ‘dirty young yellow lab’ fitting Rossi’s description was seen and reported to authorities today by a tourist. The dog was seen alone by this tourist about 1:30 today (Monday 23rd Sept) who was out walking from the Braes of Foss farm area and they reported seeing the dog running into the woods beside Kinardochy Loch.
Rossi’s family have asked me to share this info and are heading there now to have a look. It is possible it could be a fisherman’s dog but it could also be Rossi so the area will be looked at this afternoon.
Could we ask anyone living in that area to keep an eye out and report any sightings. We should be getting some drones to the area for a detailed search as soon as we can. 💕🐾🤞"

"***UPDATE REGARDING LAB SIGHTED NEAR RUTHVENFIELD AND BERTHA PARK***
Morning everyone, we just wanted to update you regarding the yellow lab sighted last night in the Ruthvenfield and Bertha Park area of Perth.
On the original post a couple of people commented that it couldn’t be Rossi as a gentleman in a blue car was out searching for his missing yellow lab and that even a yellow lab lived close by.
We have since had it confirmed that the gentleman in the blue car was the gentleman who reported seeing the yellow lab to Rossi’s mum and was continuing to help search incase it could be Rossi.
The yellow labs that live nearby have been confirmed not missing and wasn’t them sighted either.
So, we are back wondering could this be Rossi? Anything is possible and we wouldn’t want to rule out for sure could this be her until we have definitive answers.
Just so we have everything covered we are asking people to please keep an eye out for a lab on its own around Ruthvenfield and Bertha Park. If you know if anyone who lives and works in the area please ask them to keep a look out too.
Please help and share and any information is appreciated ❤️" - 2019-06-11 12:45 .

- Latest update from Help Find Rossi:
"Morning everyone ❤️
Last night Rossi’s mum received a phone call from a gentleman who has been camping in the Murthly area. For the past 3 nights he has heard a dog barking in dense woodland close to where he is camping but so far hasn’t seen any dog.
We don’t know if this could be Rossi but since it fits into the area of where these previous yellow lab sightings have been we would ask everyone to keep a look and even at nighttime if you live in the area, if you are out and about please listen out very carefully incase you hear anything.
Missing dogs can often travel about and after a while establish a route. Even though the barking has been heard close to Murthly like before we would still ask people in the surrounding areas like Bankfoot, Waterloo, Caputh, Birnam and Dunkeld to look out and listen whether if you are walking or driving through as every tiny bit of information could help in Rossi’s search.
Rossi’s mum wants to thank everyone for all you are doing for Rossi. Your support these past months has been just tremendous and it’s very heartwarming to see all the messages of support you still send daily ❤️❤️❤️" - 2019-06-04 16:19 AnneG

- Further details from Help Find Rossi regarding today's reported sighting:
"Evening everyone, we are just wanted to update you regarding sightings we have had today of yellow labs on their own. Our first report was of a lab on its own in the Tulloch area of Perth that matched Rossi’s description. That has now been confirmed not to have been her but another dog that lived locally. It is safe and home with its family.
The second sighting we had of a lab on its own was at around 3:35pm. A gentleman was driving northbound on the A9. Just before Dunkeld Train Station he noticed to his left a yellow Labrador on the verge. It was standing and having a sniff of the ground. It did not appear injured but was described as very skinny and it was also wearing a collar.
Volunteers got to the area quite quickly followed by Rossi’s family but the lab disappeared shortly after this sighting.
Out of all the sightings we have had in recent weeks of labs on their own, this is the most promising. It’s not far from where Rossi went missing and even to where the Murthly sightings were.
Rossi’s family along with volunteers are continually making sure every lead is followed up as much as possible and every avenue is explored to help find her.
It’s been mentioned a lot again today about traps. I have some experience in trapping but probably the best people in trapping dogs local to us and even in all of Scotland have also been assisting Rossi’s family with their knowledge and until we can really narrow down the area in which she could be in and even find her safe spot a trap is not an option. When that time comes we do have one we can use though.
Rossi’s family and myself want to thank everyone for all your support not just for today but for everything you have done these past months and moving forward with Rossi’s search we would ask again if people could focus keeping an eye on the A9 around Dunkeld if driving that way and even if out walking in the area.
Please if you see anything call us right away so we can chase everything up as quickly as possible.
"
Thank you again everyone for your help with finding Rossi ❤️❤️❤️

"I've just received a phone call from a gentleman who has spotted a yellow lab wandering at the side of the A9.
He spotted it at around 3:35pm today just before Dunkeld Railway Station. He was driving north so the dog was on the left on the grass verge just standing/sniffing. Soaking wet, skinny.

Hi everyone, we are needing your help regarding a sighting of a Labrador fitting Rossi’s description.
At 5:20pm yesterday a Labrador very similar in description to Rossi was sighted at Manse Crescent in Stanley, Perthshire. It was the same colouring as Rossi and looked to be around the same age. Looked to be quite out of sorts and very scared.

"***ROSSI UPDATE, 06/04/19***
Morning everyone. We have had another sighting of a dog matching Rossi’s description close by to where we had a sighting on 6pm, 28/03/19.
The sighting we had on the 28/03/29 was close to Murthly Saw Mill under the motorway on the east side of the motorway.
This more recent sighting was at around 4:30pm, 31/03/19, along that same stretch of road.
Unfortunately we only got this information sent to us yesterday as the gentleman was unaware of Rossi being missing BUT this gives us hope that we are narrowing down the area which she is in.
Even though we think we are getting closer to narrowing down the area we do still need help from you guys. Everything from alerting anyone you know who lives in the area about Rossi, to helping us with posters and even if you have the time going out to help search.
Searching has to be done so so carefully though. It’s been a long few weeks getting to the point we are at now and the way we are approach searching is being very thought out as the worst thing we could do is scare her away from where she feels safe.
If you do out walking in the area, just act like you would do on a normal everyday walk but just keeping an extra close eye out on the surrounding countryside. Like we have advised before, please no shouting or even rummaging through bushes or undergrowth as the smallest of things could scare her further.
What would actually be a massive help is if people had the time to go for a drive in the area as the past 3 sightings which have helped us narrow down an area to concentrate the search have been from a car where a Labrador has been seen sitting to the side of the road.
*Please read very carefully the following advice for if you spot Rossi*
If you do spot Rossi it’s important the following steps are done. There has to be no sudden movements and if she hasn’t clocked you try and carefully kneel to the ground so you are at her level. Whatever you do Do Not run after her, lunge at her, corner her or make her feel trapped.
We need you to report any sightings right away to 07929 519444 or 07803737225.
If for whatever reason you can’t get a hold of anyone on those numbers then please call me on 07432368792.
We need you to note the exact location Rossi was sighted along with the time. If possible marking it on google maps. If you are driving and you sight Rossi please note any nearby road signs. Things like if she was moving, walking, running, etc are all extremely important along with what direction she was headed. The more information we have the better.
If possible even take a pic of you have sighted Rossi and the location she is in as it all helps towards us finding her.
Please, if you have any information of a recent sighting it’s important you phone us right away and not post it to Facebook as we need to get to the sighting spot ASAP.
I know at points it may seem we are asking a lot and for rules almost to be followed but it is so important that when a dog has been missing for as long as Rossi things are handled extremely carefully.
Rossi’s family and myself want to thank everyone for your continued support and help in her search ❤️❤️❤️

***ROSSI UPDATE, 27/03/19***
Yesterday morning a lady called the Kaye Adams show on the radio and they kindly did a shout out about Rossi’s story.
A gentleman called in after hearing Rossi’s story saying yesterday (26/03/19, we are thinking morning before 12pm) that he has seen an injured yellow Labrador walking behind the crash barrier 700 hundred yards north of the Hermitage.
We have only gotten this news passed on to us today but do you know anyone driving up the A9 from Perth yesterday past the Hermitage that may have seen an injured yellow lab or who will be travelling that way today!?!
Please can everyone share and any news call right away!!! - 2019-03-22 21:33 GeoffA - Area Volunteer - Cornwall, Scotland & Northumberland

"***ROSSI UPDATE***
Evening all. Sadly it’s been another day with no news on Rossi 😞 we are all feeling terribly frustrated and awfully sad by this as we just want to help get her home to her family.
If you are looking for something to do this weekend, please spare whatever time you can to help search for Rossi as with her nearly being missing for 4 weeks she could turn up anywhere.
Areas like the Hermitage, Inver, Bankfoot, Dunkeld, Birnam, Loch of the Lowes, Butterstones and all the surrounding countryside we need people looking out for Rossi.
Please help us. Please help us find Rossi ❤️

"***ROSSI, UPDATE SIGHTING 15/03/19***
Evening everyone, there has been another positive sighting of Rossi earlier today at around 11:15am. This time sitting on the railway banking a little bit before Dunkeld/Birnam Railway station.
The woman who sighted her was a passenger in a car as it was driving from Perth to Pitlochry so got a view of her just sitting on the banking. From what she could see she didn’t appear injured but a bit dirty.
Volunteers were in the area quite quickly having a quiet look and the drone pilots were out searching when the winds died down a bit.
When a dog has been missing for this long, understandably they can become very VERY scared and can bolt easily. They can act completely differently to how they normally would at home so this is why we are taking a bit more of a gentle approach with the search at this stage.
I can’t express enough how incredible you guys have been with searching as honestly you have played a big part in keeping Rossi’s family going these past weeks but due to how scared Rossi will be, this is why a large group search hasn’t been organised for the weekend as we need to establish where is Rossi’s safe place is and if we get too many people in the one area we could disturb her and make her feel unsafe which we do not want.
In saying that, we do still need people traveling up and down the A9 from Perth up past the Hermitage to keep a very close look out for her especially if traveling up in the morning before 12pm when the past 2 sightings have been.
If you do happen to be in the Hermitage, Dunkeld, Inver and surrounding areas tomorrow though, again just keep a close look out but we would kindly ask not to disturb possible areas that it looks like she could hide.
All the pieces are coming together but it’s just so important for Rossi’s safety and getting her home that this next stage is done extremely carefully.
Rossi’s family are eternally grateful for everything you have done in the search for her.
Let’s keep everything crossed for the coming days ❤️🤞🏻" - 2019-03-15 00:35 Missingpetsgb
- Good news, if Rossi. Know NWR Scotland have been notified, but from experience you MUST be persistent with network rail and insist on a ref no and confirmation they have made a log of owner contact details. (They have a history of not recording details when advised of dogs on the line). We know there is no real policy with nwr regarding dogs on the line. Stay safe please RossiLast edited: 2019-03-15 00:36:27 by Missingpetsgb

"***ROSSI UPDATE 14/03/19, PLEASE SHARE!!!***
Hi everyone, apologies for no update yesterday but there was gremlins causing issues with Facebook.
Today we have a BIG update. Rossi isn’t home yet BUT we have had a VERY positive sighting of a dog fitting Rossi’s description on running on the railway line just north of the Hermitage in Dunkeld where she went missing at 10:30am this morning (14/03/19).
Her family were at the area of the sighting very quickly but Rossi was gone before they got there. Network Rail have been contacted and none of their drivers have seen a dog on the line or reported hitting anything so going on the information they have given us we are pretty positive she left the railway track not long after this sighting. Where though we are not sure.
This is where we need your guys help. This has opened up the areas again Rossi could go. If you are driving up the A9 please keep a look on the railway along with the roadside of the A9 just incase. Please do not put yourself in danger and go near the railway line to look and also if Rossi is nearby this could scare her onto the tracks which we do not want so for Rossi’s safety and yours please STAY CLEAR.
As well as the Hermitage, we need eyes open in all surrounding areas as there is quite a few routes she could go so Birnam, Dunkeld, Inver etc we need people to keep a VERY close look out.
If you sight Rossi, the best thing to do is kneel to ground, try not to look at her directly in the eyes and gently call on her. DO NOT try to lunge at her, grab her or chase her. If she does not come to you take note of the time sighted, where exactly she was sighted and the direction headed.
Please call the owners RIGHT AWAY.
If for whatever reason you can’t get the owners please call me on 07432368792.
We are still doing everything we can our end and the drone volunteers along with the volunteers on foot have been superb. We just need as many eyes out there as possible to look out for her.
Even though she hasn’t been caught, this is another piece in the jigsaw to finding her.
Please share everyone! We need as many people as possible to keep a look out for Rossi! ❤️❤️❤️" - 2019-03-12 22:55 GeoffA - Area Volunteer - Cornwall, Scotland & Northumberland

"***ROSSI UPDATE, 12/03/19***
Since the possible sighting of Rossi (09/03/19), there has been no further sightings BUT volunteers have been up again today looking for her.
There was reports of a dog similar in description to Rossi near Kilspindie (near Glendoick) but after volunteers went to check this out we are pretty sure it’s not her but a local Male one who likes to take himself for a wander.
If there is any reports of yellow labs though sighted anywhere in Perthshire please let us know and drop us a message as we would like to follow up every possible sighting.
Moving forward in the search for Rossi, we would really appreciate it still if people have any free time to help search the Hermitage and the surrounding areas.
What we need is for people just to take a quite walk around the Hermitage and towards Pine Cone Viewpoint. Please don’t shout on Rossi.
If you can help with the search, please do not leave food laying out. Feeding stations have been set up along with clothing. DO NOT touch them. We need the scent to remain that of Rossi’s family as much as possibly. People leaving food out even though I know it’s out of kindness, is being counterproductive.
If you sight Rossi, the best thing to do is kneel to ground, try not to look at her directly in the eyes and gently call on her. DO NOT try to lunge at her, grab her or chase her. If she does not come to you take note of the time sighted, where exactly she was sighted and the direction headed.
If possible if you sight her, without scaring her try and take a photo or video. This needs to done by gently taking your phone out of your pocket with no sudden movements.
If for whatever reason you can’t get the owners please call me on 07432368792.
I know we are asking a lot of you guys but it’s all for a very good reason of helping Rossi & her family.
We are still doing everything we can our end and the drone volunteers along with the volunteers on foot have been superb. We just need as many eyes out there as possible to look out for her.
I had a good chat with Rossis mum earlier tonight and she is very appreciative of what everyone is doing to help finding her girl.
Thank you everyone for all your continued support ❤️❤️❤️" - 2019-03-10 23:06 GeoffA - Area Volunteer - Cornwall, Scotland & Northumberland

"***ROSSI UPDATE, 10/03/19***
Evening everyone, apologies for the late update.
Since this possible sighting of Rossi yesterday (09/03/19), there has been no further sightings.
Today we asked people not to get involved in the search for Rossi an leave it only to a small group of volunteers as if it was her, to many people could scare her and either push her into hiding further or going in a direction we don’t want her too.
Tomorrow, we are asking the same. If you can, please stay away from where the main search is being concentrated.
Tonight volunteers are sitting in the car with a bbq hoping that the smell of good cooking would tempt her out of hiding.
If you go up to the Hermitage, please do not leave food laying out. Feeding stations have been set up along with clothing. DO NOT touch them. We need the scent to remain that of Rossi’s family as much as possibly. People leaving food out even though I know it’s out of kindness, is being counterproductive.
If you ignore our advice of staying away, can I just ask that you please don’t shout, wave your arms around and most of all DO NOT chase her. Any sightings need to be handled very carefully. If you sight Rossi, you are best kneeling the ground and if you think she will come to you, gently call her over. If she runs off, please note the time she was sighted, the direction she headed along with calling her family on the contact numbers on the poster.
If for whatever reason you can’t get the owners please call me on 07432368792.
I know we are asking a lot but it’s all for a very good reason if Rossi. Thank you everyone for all your continued support ❤️❤️❤️"

- Thank you Geoff for the updates, I am pleased to hear there may have been a sighting today. Won’t update my posts on twitter as have taken heed of what you say below, but wanted to send support from afar, thinking of you all on the ground and have everything crossed now that this will be Rossi and that you and team will be able to get her to safety. 🐾🐾

"***POSSIBLE ROSSI SIGHTING***
A yellow Labrador has been sighted at the 2nd carpark at the Hermitage where Rossi went missing at around 4:15pm today (09/03/19). The dog was struggling to walk on its back legs.
If anyone is in the area please look out for her. If this Rossi and you sight her, please DO NOT chase. Kneel to the ground so you are at her height and gentle try to call her over.
Any sightings please call me on 07432 368782.
PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THE HERMITAGE IF YOU ARE NOT ALREADY THERE!
Our last post was only for people who were at the Hermitage already to ask them to keep a look out since they were already in the area and to determine if any other yellow labs were being walked off lead.
We know people want to help but this needs to be done very careful if it was Rossi ❤️"Last edited: 2019-03-09 17:47:13 by GeoffA - Area Volunteer - Cornwall, Scotland & Northumberland - 2019-03-08 21:41 GeoffA - Area Volunteer - Cornwall, Scotland & Northumberland

"***ROSSI UPDATE, 08/03/19***
Evening everyone, today Rossi’s family, the drone volunteers and other volunteers on foot have searched the Hermitage and surrounding areas. There is still no sign of Rossi but the weather was a lot calmer during the day which made it easier for some areas to be searched again.
A lot of people have been asking if we have a organised search planned again for this weekend. We don’t but we are asking people if they have free time can they go out and search The Hermitage and the surrounding areas including up towards Rumbling Bridge, Trochry and Tay Forest Park, to the east through Inver, Dunkeld and Birnam and any areas south of the Hermitage too.
We know it’s a lot of areas to be covered but the more eyes we have out there the better incase someone spots her.
I spoke to Rossi’s mum Marie earlier tonight and she wants to thank everyone for all their kindest and support in the search for Rossi. She is really humbled by everyone’s help during this difficult time ❤️" - 2019-03-06 19:31 GeoffA - Area Volunteer - Cornwall, Scotland & Northumberland

"***ROSSI UPDATE, 2/03/19***
Evening everyone, I first of all want to say the HUGEST of thank you’s to everyone who went out today on the mass search for Rossi. People from all across Perthshire assisted with the search and even volunteers from Edinburgh came along. Specialists searched the water again in the Hermitage and the drones were able to go out for a little while before the weather got bad.
Sadly, even though a vast amount of ground was covered today Rossi is still missing BUT the past two days barking has been heard from a very remote area South of the Hermitage which you can see circled in the map. From the family concentrating searching that area today and speaking to the local gamekeeper who knows that area extremely well, there is no dogs which are owned by anyone nearby that are doing the barking and it’s not somewhere which it frequented by dog walkers.
There is a chance if Rossi made it out of the water where she fell in and got out the other side she has headed south through the woods and across the hills.
Rossi’s family, the gamekeeper along with some other selected volunteers are going to concentrate the search on the circled area over the coming days. From the gamekeepers knowledge we do not think she will head lower west.
The areas which we think would be helpful to search if people can still kindly volunteer their time is the forest north of Waterloo, Birnam Wood as far west as it stretches, Birnham Hill and Ladywell Forest including the wee forests north of Torchuaig Hill and by Little Trochry.
If people are walking in the Hermitage and north of there, even though that area has been thoroughly checked lots we would still ask you keep a close look out for Rossi there too just incase.
Please if you do go out to help search look after yourself too as it’s suppose to very cold, wet and windy the next few days and while we really appreciate everyone’s help we do not want you to put yourselves in a dangerous position.
You guys have been incredibly kind with all your doing to help Rossi and her family. I would really really appreciate it if everyone could give this post a share so we can spread the news as much as we can about the ongoing search. Let’s all do what we can to help ❤️❤️❤️

- >>>> SEARCH PARTY FOR ROSSI <<<<
https://www.facebook.com/Dogfriendlyperthshire/posts/1979386838851500
"Evening everyone. I first of all want to thank you for your continued support in the search for Rossi. Sadly after another day searching on foot and by drone she is still missing. We think the next best step is to have a large scale organised search party.
If anyone would like to take part in searching at the Hermitage and the surrounding area then please meet us at 9am, Saturday 2nd March, at the Hermitage Car Park. Either myself of one of the other main volunteers in search will be there to have a quick chat with everyone before the search begins just so if she is sighted everyone knows what to do along with which, just making sure you keep yourself safe too while helping.
If you can’t meet us at the Hermitage at the mentioned time but still want to help later in the day that’s perfectly fine and still much appreciated. Please just let us know on this post the areas searched.
If you are not meeting at the Hermitage and wish to cover the wider area on the map that needs searched the please just comment on this post the girds searched.
If you are taking part in the search then please take note of the following information.
. Make sure at the start of the search of you have the contact numbers for Rossi’s family so if you sight her you can call them right away.
. If you sight Rossi then DO NOT chase her. She is likely to be scared and confused. Stay at a safe distance and call her family. Take note of the location, time of sighting and if she moves the direction sighted.
. If you do sight Rossi and you think she is likely to come to you then kneel to the ground and gently call her over. No sudden movements. It’s worth taking some dog biscuits with you just in case this happens to tempt her with treats.
. Please do not shout on Rossi. Leave this only to her family.
. Dogs are welcome to join the search but please keep them on the lead especially near the water and if you are searching anywhere in the surrounding hills where there is sheep.
. Please wear sensible clothing and footwear to keep yourselves warm and dry and it’s suppose to be cold and a bit wet as the day goes on.
. Make sure your phone is fully charged so you can report any sightings if need be.
. If you have one, carry a spare lead as Rossi was wearing a collar when she went missing.
I can’t stress this enough but we want everyone TO KEEP AWAY from the waters edge. It’s suppose to be a bit damp and wet tomorrow so we don’t want anyone clambering on slippery rocks near the water. We have experienced people that can search the water again if needed, we want no one tomorrow putting themselves in danger.
A huge thank you to everyone that can be part of tomorrow’s search. Please just keep us informed by commenting on this post what areas of the grid you will be covering.
Let’s keep everything crossed that with enough people helping tomorrow we will get good news ❤️

"***ROSSI UDATE, 27/02/19***
At 1:30am this morning a man sighted a dog matching Rossi’s description in a field at Bankfoot behind where close family members live.
Since we found out that news early today Rossi’s family, volunteers and drones have searched the area but haven’t sighted her.
Other volunteers today searched backroads and fields around Bankfoot and the Hermitage and MIGHT have spotted Rossi but it’s extremely difficult to confirm for sure. At 11am in an area called Meikle Obney, in the distance a animal yellow in colour was seen darting back in forth yellow in colour. It’s thought not to be a sheep but it was to far in the distance to confirm if it’s Rossi.
We are asking volunteers to still search around the Hermitage (along with the surrounding woods & countryside), Dunkeld, Birman and Bankfoot. If these two sightings were Rossi she could be running back and fourth to where she went missing and where family live in Bankfoot.
When it’s dark the options are limited to continue the searching. The family are trying a BBQ tonight along with camping out where the sighting was in Bankfoot so everything crossed for a result.
If you can continue helping with the search please do so cautiously as we don’t want to spook her, so no loud noises, shouting her name or whistles.
It’s frustrating we can’t confirm these sightings are Rossi for sure but it is all we have to go on at the moment.
Thank you again everyone for your ongoing support with reuniting Rossi with her family ❤️

Hi everyone, I just wanted to update you regarding Rossi the missing lab who fell in the water at the Hermitage, Dunkeld.
Sadly she is still missing but as many people as possible in the area have been alerted and more people in the morning will be aware as phone calls and emails will be going out.
A couple of gentlemen who are experienced in canoyning will be going out with ropes tomorrow to check the river and waterfall.
Also a few experienced kayakers are going to search the river incase Rossi has been able to make it onto the river bed.
Weather depending, a gentleman is going to search the River with his drone tomorrow.
Rossi’s family and myself appreciate everyone’s help and support at this very difficult time. I will keep everyone posted with anymore news ❤️"
