just want to say a big thanks to everyone involved in the search for sam!!! he was none the worse for his ordeal, in fact he was full of himself! took him to an agility comp on the saturday and we got 3 clear rounds!!! amazing eh! thanks again xxx sue

Have spoken to owner will do Leigh Cats & Dogs after 4.00pm today. Will do Bolton tomorrow. Husband delivers round Cheshire so will keep an eye out & poster. Best of Luck

can you just update sam's details with the following please? he's been neutered and has a full tail. he's quite leggy and quite lean built. he has a lump on his left foreleg where he broke his toe! thanks very much

thanks very much everyone. no word as yet but i will keep looking and going back to all the places where we normally walk. hopefully he'll turn up exhausted and none the worse for his ordeal! send come home vibes to him xxxx

Forgot to say there will be lots of rabbits on and around the golf course at this time of year so keep going back there and maybe leave one of Sams blankets or something with your smell on that will keep him there.

Sorry to hear you have lost Sam, typical springer, nose down and off they go. Get posters put up all around the area he went missing from. I'm sure the golfers will keep a look out for him. Send posters to all vets, pet shops, dog training clubs and ask the postman and local taxi drivers to watch out for him. Don't forget to send a poster to the dog warden and visit rescue centres regularly. Springer rescue have a section for missing dogs on their web site so might be worth contacting them.
