- OH Yasa ! I Great minds think alike ....... I actually phoned Six'x owner this morning with the number for the Fell and Moorland Working terrier group ! I do feel this little lad may well have gone down a hole especially in view of how quickly he vanished. His owner also told me he is a dog that will usually keep checking back to see where his owners are when on a walk so to dissapear like this is out of character. Pam xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- barney, hello. Sorry to see Six has still not turned up. Very good idea to get other dogs searching about. If possible try to get up there at day break as its getting light and all the rabbits will be out. If Six is still on an adventure he may be out hunting then. We have known dogs be stuck down holes for a few days and emerge ok, but you may klike to seek advice from THE FELL AND MOORLAND WORKING TERRIER CLUB. 01508 483756 / 07788 994216. They have cameras and heat seeking equiptment, and may have a member in your area. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Six vanished while out on a walk with his owner having just crossed the M62 via Shepherds Thorn Lane and entered Bradley Woods nr Bradley, Huddersfield . One minute he was there and the next nowhere to be seen. I have spoken to this little dogs owners and explained the ruling for stray dogs and although they have phoned Marina kennels they are now going to visit there in person tomorrow. They have also informed local vets and returned to the area they lost Six in every day and also taken their other dog to see if they could get a scent for Six as its is possible this little lad has gone down a hole. I have advised them how important it is to poster ! PamLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Sorry to hear your little dog is missing. It's been six days now so it is vital you send us a photo so posters can be sent out to local helpers. You need to regularly check all rescue centres. Call in person as it's not always easy to recognise dogs by their description. I know he is microchipped but not all rescue centres scan dogs on arrival and sometimes the chip can be missed. Once posters are printed make sure you place them all around the area he went missing from. Most dogs stay close to the place they last saw their owners so go back there early morning and late evening just as the light is going. You could take something with your smell on or one of his blankets. Don't forget to inform the dog warden and all vets in the area.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
