I’ve made a start removing posters but as I put up over 200 it’s going to take a while. Milo slept well overnight but is quite lame this morning which is only to be expected. I’m off to see him shortly for a cuddle.

Well done everyone it was as usual a brilliant team effort x

It’s such amazing news! I’m in tears having heard from the owner, he ran straight up to her when he heard her voice:-)
jacks
Thank god for that welcome home Milo

Overjoyed that Milo has just been caught and is happily reunited with his owner, Penny πŸŽ‰πŸΎπŸ’•
ClaireC
Sadly not at the moment Jacks. He’s got his own agenda!
jacks
Does this form a triangle as they usually keep to a triangle I cannot believe he is covering such a big area
Dizzy
Milo has covered a lot of ground today but thankfully circled away from the a413 back into the cholesbury/bellingdon area and then on into wiggington. Sadly we’ve always been a step behind him but there have been numerous sightings including one from a member of Team Milo who knows him. Please keep looking out for him and sharing his poster!

Bumping Milo as there have been 3 sightings yesterday & he is very close to the busy A413
Stay safe Milo until your caught x
ClaireC
I’ve reposted back on the Lee Forum page in regard to this latest sighting up there for people to check around their properties etc .
DogLostSam99-Area volunteer, South Bucks
@Kelly. We are unable to pinpoint where you saw him today as can’t find a road to match. Could you please give us more information on location as certainly in the right area for previous sightings earlier in the day.
Kelly
I saw a dog matching this description but alot thinner at about 5pm today along Field End Lane in The Lee. When he saw me he turned into the woods heading for Lee Common. I bumped into someone else further down the lane who also spotted him but she thought he was with some people behind her.
jacks
Is this near where he lives he is certainly giving people the runaround
Dizzy
Sighting has just come through of a dog which looks like milo sighted by a garden centre in South Heath, ballinger this morning. Will poster the area tomorrow morning
jacks
I would suggest as soon as there is a sighting now to set up a feeding station if he is staying in the same place but once again it really needs to be monitored from a distance so you will know if it's him taking the food once it can be established that it's Milo eating it then a trap can be set but we need him to show himself and to stay in that area
ClaireC
Sadly cannot use a drone as too near the airspace for RAF Halton who have an active airfield.
jacks
It would be best to scent the area the trouble with using a trap he needs to stay in the same area and he is moving around so much also a trap has to be monitored 24/7
jenny
if he is staying around the same area is it worth trying food and a trap or a drone
Dizzy
We think he’s more likely to still be in the chartridge, Chesham area but we need sightings to confirm that:-(
jacks
So is he back in Tring or still in chesham
ClaireC
Shared to The Lee Forum which covers surrounding areas to latest sightings.
Dizzy
Information on Milo’s page has been updated as it said he had been sighted multiple times in Tring and we wanted to show on the poster the up to date area for sightings. His info has been shared to the nextdoor group which covers Chesham and the surrounding areasLast edited: 2019-03-05 12:27:23 by Dizzy
Dizzy
Just back from a sighting in Berkeley avenue (the other end to the store), which is not far from the potential sighting this morning and met dog lost ladies and Penny, Milo’s owner. Had a drive round with Penny and then drove around the areas he was seen in this morning but have had to come home now. Penny and I have not sighted him but Paul a local dog walker who knows Penny and Milo arrived as I was leaving
ClaireC
Missing Milo’s story has just been aired on local radio and with a sighting this morning I have therefore bumped his page. Fingers crossed for more sightings today as there are feet on the ground ready to go!!
ClaireC
Thanks Dizzy.
Dizzy
Milo was sighted in Abbots Vale off vale road this morning and Hillside off Hivings Hill in Chesham this morning but by the time we got there had gone again. I’ve walked and postered the fields and roads around vale road, checked out the chartridge sighting and postered there as well. Have been to the black cat in Lye Green and given Elaine a poster for the pub and postered all entrances to the fields which would lead him home. Now waiting for a new sighting while printing out more leaflets.
ClaireC
Milo has his own fb page as well now.

Dizzy
I spoke to lots of horse riders while postering the area this afternoon and alerted them. Also dropped a leaflet into a local sheep owner who has a lot of in lamb ewes to make her aware as she’s yards from where he was last seen. I will walk the common/woods early tomorrow morning on bridlepaths and put some posters deeper into the woods.
DogLostSam99-Area volunteer, South Bucks
Local doglost team have been out walking and searching the woods and fields along Cholesbury Lane as well as driving the area. Sadly no sightings since the one this morning, but lots of locals aware.

Hi Jayne can alerts be reissued for HP5 area again please?
Dizzy
I’ve printed out 30 of his posters and have got some plastic a4 sleeves so am going out now to poster the cholesbury, vale road, Asheridge and chartridge areas
jacks
Oh no not the news I was waiting for I just hope he doesn't head back to Tring when you get another sighting it might be a good idea to scent the route home. Another thing that could work if anyone had a bitch in season to scent areas towards home
Dizzy
Milo took a wrong turn this morning and was last seen in Cholesbury which is the wrong direction, however he’s still much nearer to home than when he was in Tring.
I’m now back from a weekend away. Spoken to owner (who is a friend) and have said I’ll take my dog out for a walk as Milo loves her and she stays with Milo and his owner when I go abroad. I’m just waiting for an up to date sighting of where he’s been seen.
jacks
That's great news come on Milo you can do it what a clever boy
ClaireC
He’s trying to make his way home and is now a mile from it. Owner is out searching as this is an area he’s walked in!
jacks
OK thanks Dizzy I wasn't sure if that was the road I was thinking of I really hope he gets home ASAP
Dizzy
The a416 is the road which runs from Chesham through Ashley green to Berko. It’s busy but not nearly as bad as the a41. If he’s heading for home from the wiggington area then a straight line across the fields would lead him out around the Ashley green area, from there across the fields it’s a couple of miles to home.
jacks
He seems to be definitely heading for home I'm not sure where the A416 is but if he was in Wigginton would he go Cholesbury way to Chesham
Dizzy
If he carries on the way he’s going he’s got to get across the A416 but he seems to have had the sense to go under the A41 instead of trying to cross it so let’s hope he continues to be sensible.
jacks
If the owners can go to the last place he was seen and either take some of their urine with them or the dirt from their hoover bag and make a trail so he can follow it either to their car or home
ClaireC
Yes he’s been hiding out at Rossway! Fingers crossed for his safety as there are some busy areas he’s got to negotiate ! Last edited: 2019-03-02 16:47:29 by ClaireC
Dizzy
Should say: whilst limping (it’s probably from an existing over exercise exacerbated injury) he’s moving fast and jumping fences etc Last edited: 2019-03-02 15:44:54 by Dizzy
Dizzy
Across the fields as the bird flies he’s not many miles from home! Fingers crossed he cracks on and is home before dark. Owner is at home waiting for him because they lost sight of him in a private estate which they weren’t allowed to enter,
ClaireC
Sadly it would appear he’s on the move again!!
Dizzy
There have been numerous sightings of Milo today and more importantly a photo of a dog running through a field which is definitely him. He’s presently in Wiggington and the owner is on site. Fingers crossed he smells her car and heads for it as that’s always been his safety blanket!
ClaireC
Thanks Dizzy
Dizzy
I’m away for the weekend so not able to help look now. Owner couldn’t see him though she thoroughly searched the area. Will pass on the info of the sighting to her. Duckmore Lane is very near the vets he was sighted at this morning
ClaireC
Dizzy I am assuming you are also following posts on fb. Ive seen this one post 3 hours ago at Duckmore Lane! I suspect as limping badly, then he will, I think, possibly rest up for a bit! Tring is busy today with the market on. Maybe get people if you’re with owner to have a look around gardens etc and if near cemetery to have a look in there!

Has this dog been found ? We have just seen a dog matching this description wearing a collar and limping on woodland close. My son ran out to look for it but by the time he got the the end of the road he couldn’t see it anymore. Headed towards park road. He’s just going back out to look again
ClaireC
Thanks Dizzy not the one I know. Fingers crossed they get him to safety.
Dizzy
It’s the vets on the B4635 Aylesbury road which runs from the roundabouts near the a41 junction into Tring old town. The vet is aware he’s nearby.Last edited: 2019-03-01 09:31:56 by Dizzy
ClaireC
Dizzy is that Aston Clinton Vets on the A41? If it is please ring them on 01296 630326 as Darren May well go out to help catch him with his staff! Last edited: 2019-03-01 09:17:34 by ClaireC
Dizzy
He’s on the Aylesbury road at the moment, limping badly. Owners daughter ringing vets to see if they can help catch him. Owner is at least 30 mins away by car!
Dizzy
Possible sighting this morning near the vet which is on the Aylesbury road.

If it’s him, I feel sure he’ll try coming back tonight for more food!! Fingers crossed.
Dizzy
He ran back into the kennels at about 130pm yesterday but then bolted straight back out again. The owner left her car at the kennels last night with the door open and a bowl of food inside, the food had gone (could have been a Fox) this morning. The kennel staff are watching for him in case he goes back again.
ClaireC
He may just even attempt to get back to the kennels from the Industrial Estate. Once you get your posters printed off, it might be an idea to spread some around that area. Tring market is on tomorrow, so a few posters down there would be beneficial. Also further down the Icknield Road on the corner of Nathaniel Walk there is a small nature reserve park which has a lot of dog walkers who go and again another good place to put some posters up on the gate areas.

Managed to get photos on... he’s microchipped but I don’t know the number. He was wearing a collar with ID tags on
Dizzy
It won’t let me add photos! We’ve been searching for him all day yesterday and again today. His owner is still over there searching but I’ve had to come home.
