We've found Ellie! A dog walker found her in a farmer's field this morning stuck in some sticky weed behind some barbed wire. It was in one of the places we'd checked yesterday several times so no idea what had happened in the meantime. The posters did the trick, thanks very much for your help! There were loads of people round here too who were really supportive which is really nice to see too.   Thanks!

Thanks Matt for posting an update.  If you have not found her by Monday hopefully you will get some good news once the DW's and vets are operational, great that she is CHIPPED.  Someone may have picked her up and be looking after her.  Jan x

Tel no for local pound 5292369 I have just rehomed 2 dogs to someone that walks her dogs in the area. I have rang her but she has knows about  ellie. I will let Pawz for thought know if anyone finds her and rings them

Thanks Jan. We've informed the DW, but the actual warden isn't back in work until 9am monday. Ellie went missed when I lost sight of her on Cleadon Hills; we've searched for several hours. There are only a few houses nearby and i've left descriptions and a contact number at each. We've done likewise at the nearby Kennels and the local Golf course, together wth the nearby Farm in case she's wandered off the beaten track. The local vets are unavailable until monday but have logged at Petlog. Will be putting up posters shortly.  Thanks Matt

Thanks for sending photo so quickly, this will really help us in your search.  Posters can now be printed off, you need to display them in the areas.  Do return to where she went missing.  Contact DW's, vets and rescue kennels in the area and surrounding areas (you can find vets by using the logo which flashes up underneath Latest Missing pics on the right).  Please do post an update of the circumstances and of what you have done so far.
