- Wonderful news. So pleased. She was probably shut in someone`s shed? Some believe that cats like the smell of wood. She maybe a little clingy now for a while. Stay close now Lily:-)xxx Thanks for letting us know how Lily was found. x Gives hope to other cat owners.

- check AL outbuildings, including empty houses, and cellars, THOROUGHLY, as some cats will hide in, or behind an object within, especially if timid. check trees' decking too. Put some tuna, or chicken in her dish, and call her; ngiht/early morning is best. Rattle some treats too. Place her UNWASHED blanket into a clean container, along with your scent too. Leave in the garden in a sheltered spot, or hang on the washing line if dry; used towels too. Wipe her scent on your garden fences, gates, doors too; anything leading up to the garden. Try a squeaky toy as it may attract her attention. Walk around the area, holding an object with her scent on, and rattle some Dreamies. When it`s nightfall, and you are searching, use a strong torch as the light will reflect a cats eyes. Poster around the area, and post flyers through doors too. Ask around, especially those with children,. as they can be very observant.. Post in shops. post offices too. Hand out as many posters as you can; where, and when you can. Post a LOST CAT in a National newspaper, in case she has climbed into a vehicle; not uncommon for some cats to do.
Also is there a dominant cat in the area. as sometimes they will chase a ct out of out`s own territory. The cat will not return, until they think it`s "Safe" enough for them to do so. Paws xd. - 2019-03-04 17:55 Gemma - Area Co-ordinator - North West
