- janiejewel1649, thanks for posting. This is not the first time dogs have been rehomed due to details not being up to date. The first thing we say to Owners are to make sure Chip details are updated. Owner is happy to know he is safe and nothing worse has happened to him.

- It`s so sad that the owner can`t have Chico back. Although the microchip not up to date, seems so unfair. It wasn`t as though the owner abandoned him. His scar on inside of his leg, and presume registered at a vets would prove ownership? At least owner knows Chico is safe.Last edited: 2019-03-07 20:45:23

- As thought maybe the case CHICO was legally REHOMED in January 2018 after doing his 7 days in the STRAY KENNELS. Owner now has closure and sadly learnt the hard way re not UPDATING MICROCHIP details. It is also important to keep checking with Stray Kennels and to make sure Chip Co is contacted if your pet goes missing and update the details.
Will move CHICO into the REHOMED - 2019-03-06 07:44 Unknown
- Hope this Chico will be found soon. re-homed or not Chico belongs to you. He could have been stolen, and sold on. This is why it`s very important to update microchips. I would post a LOST DOG ad in a National newspaper. Ask family, friends, and neighours to share as well as DL. Twitter too. Paws xd that Chico will be reunited very soon.

- Have updated the details and added new pics that sit better in the box for the poster. Owner is going to contact the Chip Co and is aware CHICO could of been legally rehomed.

- Made contact with owner. CHICO was MICROCHIPPED but was not up to date. Will advise owner to contact the Chip Co to check if he had been scanned and possible rehomed.
