Oh Jotty, this is just fabulous news - WELL DONE for recognising Honey after all that time. I'm absolutely thrilled to bits for her family - what a wonderful start to 2010. She is quite adorable. I just hope that this brings hope to Muppet, the Rottie's owners who are still waiting for their piece of good news. WELCOME HOME HONEY!!!  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

IT WAS HER!!!!! Wooooo hooooo, Honey is home after being missing for 1 and a half years, since July 2008! I have been so excited the last couple of days waiting and didn't want to move her to the blue until owners had been to the kennels and got her back...just incase! But thrilled to be able to do so now. Owners, family and kids all couldn't believe it and are totally over the moon, as is Honey at being back. Honey was picked up as a stray in Harlow and did her 7 days in the pound without being claimed. The wonderful Mutts in Distress rescue then thankfully took her in for rehoming and they also notify me of any dogs they get in.....not had a match till now....but this was certainly worth the wait, recognised it as Honey as soon as I saw the pic.....lucky she's a distinctive girl! Lovely reunited photo on site and have asked, if she's not already, that she's microchipped asap as a welcome home pressie!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Excellent, photo now on site. I have sent Honey's poster to both the normal office hrs and out of hours dog wardens for Harlow, plus some local kennels. Honey's dad, you can print Honey's poster via the 'Dog Poster 1' link at the top of this page (just above 'Dog Information' in the form with all the details). Poster the area she went missing, and also places where there are lots of people - bus stops, supermarkets, local shops, dog walking areas etc. Contact local vets (you can get a list via the Find any UK Vet link on the right of our screen)......you've got to spread the word, the more eyes looking for Honey the better. Posters really do work and lead to many missing dogs being reunited. xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
