What a relief for this lovely girl and her owners. Are the police going to do anything about the theft? Doubt it.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Great news to read that Daisy is now safely back with her family. These theiving ba...rds need to be taken to court, and locked up. The act of dog theft is just not being taken seriously enough. Thank you to those responsible in finding Daisy, and would you please keep a look out for all of our other South West lurchers, which have gone "missing".  I will now remove Daisy's poster from the DL "Missing" folder at local vet's surgery. Stay close to your family now Daisy, as the evil scum that took you, unfortunately will not, just disappear. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Welcome home Daisy! Well done to all involved in getting her back where she belongs. This is actual proof that Gypsy are stealing our dogs this is becoming common place and all dog owners should be aware and that any dog taken should be reported immediately to the Police and to get on to G L Officer ASAP.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

e mail from owner: Just to let you know that we have found Daisy...  Our local dog
warden (Hillcrest kennels, Salisbury) with the help of the Liaison
Officer, identified her in a gypsy camp this afternoon and took her
away with her.  We are so relieved,  but want to thank you so much
for all your help and support.  I shall be doing you another donation
as we have not had to 'buy' her back.  I have left Jan a message on
her phone, as she has been so kind in ringing me a couple of times to
find out how things were going.
Here is a pic of her in her bed at home a few minutes ago..!
Many thanks again Wonderful news! Welcome home Daisy!

Daisy's owner is working very closely with the police to identify the owner of the car involved.  There will be lots of publicity in the local papers within the next week which is sure to flush out this identifiable dog.  She is CHIPPED.  If you have taken Daisy, please return her!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Daisy was stolen by three males in a vehicle ~ the details of which have been passed to police.  This vehicle was seen in suspicious circs at an address close to where Daisy was stolen from. Daisys collar was recovered close by the area.  Daisy is SPAYED and is a non worker.  She is a very distinctive dog who is MICROCHIPED and is easily recogniseable.  Owners are very actively postering in the local area. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
