- Thank you! He had been in my neighbours garage, 3 doors down. Weird though as we had walked past there so many times and he had left the door open loads of times as he’s always in and out of it doing odd jobs. So Oscar will have heard us calling but was obviously too scared to come out. He was absolutely fine, barely lost any weight either! Was playing fetch and purring away as soon as he got in - like nothing had ever happened! 4 days without food and water and he was fine. Xxx

- Remember to double check all outbuildings,as cats can stay very quite, and still. A cat owner who posted a lost cat on here. found the cat after a second check. It`s because the feel anxious even though their owner may be present. Paws xd.

- Check ALL outbuildings, including empty houses, and cellars, THOROUGHLY, as some cats will hide, in or behind an object within, especially if timid. Check trees, and decking too. And bear in mind that cats can as you know can squeeze into very small spaces due to their flexible spines. Empty contents of the hoover onto the garden, as his scent will be there. Put some tuna, or chicken in his dish, and call him; night/early mornings is best. Rattle some treats too. Place his UNWASHED blanket into a clean container, along with your scent too. Leave in the garden in a sheltered spot, or hang on the washing line if dry; used towels too. Wipe his scent on your garden fences, gates, doors too; anything leading up to the garden. Try a squeaky toy, as it may attract his attention. Walk around the areas, holding an object with his scent on, and rattle some Dreamies. Someone maybe feeding him. (Common problem). When it`s nightfall, and you are searching, use a strong torch as the light will reflect a cats eyes. Poster around the area, and post flyers through doors too. Ask around, especially those with children, as they can be very observant. Post in shops, post offices too. Hand out as many posters as you can; where, and when you can. Post a LOST CAT ad in a National newspaper in case he has climbed into a vehicle which isn`t uncommon for cats to do, according to Hasis`mun who sometime posts on here. Paws xd.
