Gee is HOME, he has been involved in an RTA, spoken to another family member who will update when they get the full details.  She said Gee is going to be o.k.  Welcome home Gee and hope you soon make a full recovery.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Also, tell as many dog walkers as possible and give them posters/leaflets. They are probably more likely to notice stray dogs. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

So sorry to hear about Gee. Excuse me if you have already done these things, but people you need to contact are the dog warden, Marina Kennels (01484 426407) (they board stray dogs found in Shipley and Bradford), Abbey House vets (01274 876686), local vets, microchip company, RSPCA, local police (0845 6060606) (if he was stolen get a crime number so it's taken seriously), Fleet Boarding Kennels (01274 880408) (think they board stray dogs found in Bradford), local staffie rescue (should be one on the internet). Call/visit the dog warden and boarding kennels every day cos they only have to keep dogs for 7 days. Also some wardens don't always log reports, or log dogs as the wrong breed etc. so need to check in person if possible or at least send them a poster. It's great he is chipped but not all rescues and vets scan routinely so he could slip through. If you can get a photo onto the site, posters need to go up around where he was lost, local vets, local postal sorting office, taxi offices, car boot sales, pet shops (including in Bradford) , RSPCA. Worth putting posts in ad trader, preloved and ukclassifieds websites, and also check these for him being sold on. T&A don't seem to put in articles about lost/stolen dogs but do have a lost and founf section so try this and the Shipley Target. Also worth checking www.pupsandmutsdogrescue.co.uk which has pictures of stray dogs picked up in West Yorkshire on there. I know it's a lot to do but need to cover all angles. There are several doglost members (including myself) who would be happy to help with posters and looking if a picture and details of where he was lost could be uploaded onto the site. Hope this is helpful. Fingers crossed for you x
