- BARNEY HAS BEEN FOUND SAFE 😀 He was found by someone on the other side of the river, quite a way down. He still had his tag on, so they phoned owner. He is a bit lame, was full of ticks but after a vet check & some meds he is home feeling a bit sorry for himself.
Owner is very thankful for all the help she has received from everyone. - 2019-03-27 21:17 Sue - onestopalldogs

- Local fishermen who know the river well have done a search of certain stretches & found nothing. A drone is going up again this evening for another search of area & surroundings. Sadly there are lots of trees obscuring some parts which are not easily accessible on foot. There may be a small ravine on the other side of the river, which Barney's owner is going to try & find, in case he is stuck there.

- I have spoken to Kathryn (owner) & advised further.
It is thought Barney may have fallen into river, as he was last seen trying to get his ball which was wedged between rocks. He knew area well & had played there regularly with the other household dog. Owner had headed back to car & realised after 5 mins he wasn't following so returned to where last seen to look for him.
I have put info on Drone SAR page (weblink & poster) in case drone available to assist, as area surrounded by farmland.
