It felt like it was my birthday when I heard the news earlier! So so pleased that Evie was found safe - clever girl to hide behind some bins - I thought she’d be hiding somewhere! - really chuffed for his owner - what a sleepless night that was. Welcome home Evie x

So pleased she has been found and is safely back home.

It was great to get the txt from Samantha Salter (Scouse Pets 2) while I was in work. Managed to EDIT my fb post with the fab news. Owner had sent a msg but I did not see it until got home.

I’ve emailed the poster to Merseyside Animal Rescue & Freshfields in case Evie is taken in there. Have given owner their numbers to perhaps call tomorrow if she hasn’t been found by then. Also Dogs Trust Liverpool. Paws crossed for Evie, well done to Laura Finnegan, so helpful of you, owner must be so relieved to have support on the ground like this . 🐾🐾

Have made touch with owner. Chip and tag details are up to date,

Thanks to Laura Finnegan for going out and searching for her with a night vision camera.

Evie is used to being walked from the house, hopefully she may find her way home when it is quiet.

Shared to dachshund friends and sites, I did note the comment about being seen, but thought there's a possibility someone from my dachshund families may know the area or someone in it. Hope that's okay?

From one dachsie family to another please stay safe little Evie x

Paws crossed for Evie x

Not online properly yet but have updated the details and added a better pic which I’ve seen on the owner share post on Scouse Pets 2. Will do a quick share and follow up ASAP. Fingers crossed she is back home soon,
