- What wonderful news! Welcome home Chico, I’m so pleased to hear that you are safe! Once I heard that Canine Capture were on the case, I felt very happy for you and just knew you’d be ok. Well done do them and everyone that must have worked day and night tracking his merry dance and then at last to make sure he stayed safe and went into the trap. Thank DogNess 🐾🐾Last edited: 2019-05-04 12:59:04 by .

- Chico has been caught safely in a trap.
He is now en route via transport to safe kennels.
I will miss this little guy, who has led us a merry dance for a long time & travelled miles over South Cornwall.
Canine Capture assisted us in Cornwall with their knowledge, advice & equipment to which I am very grateful. His fosterer Mark monitored the trap when we eventually found that Chico had settled in a field & did trips to replenish food & neighbours kept a watch & reported sightings.
Stay safe Chico & hope you have a happy life once you have settled down. - 2019-04-24 14:11 Max - Area Co-ordinator - Cornwall & Area Volunteer - Durham & Ireland
- Chico has been spotted in the Boskenwyn area, not far from Gweek (23/4), we are still trying to monitor his movements, as he pops up & then disappears, only to reappear somewhere else.

- There have been no sightings now for about 72 hours, but here in Cornwall it is very cold with a biting strong wind & has been for 2 days, so he may be keeping warm somewhere & conserving his energy.

- Chico is on the move again. Been sighted Argal reservoir area Mon 8/4.
We are still monitoring movements & alerting farms/properties around area to be vigilant & report sightings. - 2019-04-06 17:33 Max - Area Co-ordinator - Cornwall & Area Volunteer - Durham & Ireland
- Chico has been sighted several times now in a rural area near Constantine/Gweek. He appears uninjured & is safe & seems to be going back to a property, where he has been given a little food. He still runs at the sight of anyone around, but seems fairly content to be near their dogs
We have set up cameras to monitor his comings & goings & traps are in place (but not set) just to get him used to them. Scenting items have been left too. - 2019-04-03 19:19 Max - Area Co-ordinator - Cornwall & Area Volunteer - Durham & Ireland
- Possible sighting of dog fitting his description, involved RTA, dog ran off but injured. Ran into fields near Garras Primary School Helston.
IF INJURED, MAY BITE. DO NOT TRY TO CATCH. - 2019-04-01 18:25 Max - Area Co-ordinator - Cornwall & Area Volunteer - Durham & Ireland
- Chico has been featured on local radio station Fb page

- Chico seems to be covering many miles. He was sighted in Carn Marth, Lanner this afternoon & seems to have gone over the hill to Four Lanes, where he was spotted on the road which leads to Helston.
Posters are going out everywhere, as well as alerting all surrounding villages on Fb & notifying business's on fb to print posters & be on the lookout for him. - 2019-03-30 15:38 Max - Area Co-ordinator - Cornwall & Area Volunteer - Durham & Ireland
- Owner has access to a trap & trail cam if needed when Chico settles somewhere. Posters being posted further afield.
Poster link & info sent to local radio stations & being done for local business's
Sadly Chico has not formed a bond with any human or other dog at this stage, although he is believed to be ok with other dogs. - 2019-03-30 01:00 GeoffA - Area Volunteer - Cornwall, Scotland & Northumberland
- Two further sightings Hill Head / College Hill area - repeating earlier advice:
PLEASE DO NOT CHASE OR TRY TO GRAB. If he can be safely/securely contained somewhere that is ok, but do not put him in danger of flight. HE IS SCARED.

- There has been a sighting of Chico close to home. Neighbours have been asked not to feed him & fosterers will put a little food out to temp him & monitor his movements.

- It seems Chico was moved to his current address as an emergency foster case (they work with the rescue). The garden is dog proof, as there are 5 other dogs, but as fosterer was letting one of her elderly dogs out at night for a wee, Chico ran into garden. HE IS EXTREMELY NERVOUS & will not go to anyone. He was running around garden for a while & couldn't be caught & eventually found a way out. He has been back for food & I have advised re setting up a scenting area with his blanket & food to gain his confidence. If needed we can set up a trap when the time comes. PLEASE REPORT SIGHTINGS ONLY. DO NOT ACTIVELY TRY TO CATCH.
